(Minghui.org) I downloaded the new version of the Falun Dafa exercise music after it was published on the Minghui website in November 2018. The first time I did the hour-long version of the second exercise, Holding the Wheel, I felt pressure. I could have chosen to do the half-hour version since it was easier, but I challenged myself.
Since 2001, I had a difficult time doing the second exercise. The half-hour version was already difficult for me, so I couldn’t imagine how I could possibly do it for a whole hour.
My understanding is that practitioners should not only improve their xinxing but also do well in all aspects of their lives. Master Li is offering us this opportunity to gain great merit by helping to save sentient beings during the persecution.
Some practitioners still have karma, which can manifest as health problems. The old forces have also taken advantage of our desire for comfort, resulting in premature deaths in within the cultivation community.
I always felt sleepy when I studied the Fa, so I started to do the second exercise for one hour. It was hard at first, but I knew it was a great opportunity for me to eliminate karma.
Master Li said:
“But in reality, what human society takes to be truths are, from the perspective of the cosmos, inversions of truth; when humans go through hardship and suffer it is so that they may pay off karma and thereby have happiness in the future. A cultivator thus needs to cultivate by correct and upright truths. Going through hardship and suffering is an outstanding opportunity to remove karma, be cleansed of sin, purify the body, elevate your plane of thought, and rise in level—it’s an extraordinarily good thing. This is a correct and upright Fa-truth.” (“The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be,” The Essentials Of Diligent Progress Vol. III)
I have continued to do the second exercise for one hour since November. I'm no longer sleepy when I study the Fa, and my xinxing has improved.
I want to thank Master for his compassion. I will cultivate diligently and do the three things asked of practitioners and return to my true home.
