(Minghui.org) Xuanxuan became a practitioner in 1997 when he was in his 30s. He was very diligent in studying the Fa, doing the exercises, and introducing Falun Dafa to others. He led his wife and their 3-year-old daughter to practice as well. He later became an assistant at the local practice site as a result of his enthusiasm and willingness to assist others.
After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution in July 1999, it became difficult for Xuanxuan to see through the CCP's propaganda about Falun Dafa. Xuanxuan and his family stop practicing around 2005.
I often went to his house to share about Dafa and dispel rumors spread by the Chinese regime. He still spoke in an amiable manner. Yet he said we would not be able to reach consummation since the government did not let us practice.
Xuanxuan did not clearly understand the Fa principles; therefore, he had many doubts about the practice, and he had forgotten about certain points in the Fa. I knew, however, that he would be able to break through his thoughts as long as he studied the Fa well. So I gave him two copies of Zhuan Falun, hoping that he would resume the practice with his family as soon as possible.
When I went to his house again shortly after, his wife was courteous but returned the books. “Please stop coming here,” she said. “Xuanxuan is practicing tai chi now.”
Her reaction was unexpected, but I did not want to give up. I understood that practitioners who’ve given up the practice face frightening consequences. I could not bear the thought.
When I went to visit Xuanxuan again, they would not open the door. I felt bad, but not so much embarrassed. It was more important that they resume the practice.
Master said:
“A while back, some Dafa disciples had not yet stepped forward, so we had to wait and do our best to have them come forth. But the time for this is running out. When I saw students who came out of China, I urged them to tell the students who haven’t stepped forward to quickly do so—to have them quickly find those lost students and spell the facts out for them, for what they otherwise face is a most tragic of ends.” (“20th Anniversary Fa Teaching,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)
I asked four practitioners to accompany me to Xuanxuan's home during the Chinese New Year Lantern Festival this year. Since his wife had left for the New Year, Xuanxuan was home alone, which gave us a perfect opportunity.
“Please come back to Dafa—don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” the only male practitioner among us said to Xuanxuan, patting him on the shoulder. Xuanxuan still said that he was fine practicing tai chi.
A female practitioner said that Master published a new version of Lunyu in 2015. I added, “Lunyu contains profound meanings. Let me recite it for you.”
I began to recite with my utmost reverence. The female practitioner joined me by reading it from the electronic version. Other practitioners recited from memory.
We read Lunyu concertedly, and the room was filled with a sacred and peaceful atmosphere. Everyone was immersed in the energy field of Falun Dafa, the same kind of energy when we were studying the Fa.
Xuanxuan closed his eyes to listen, emanating his own deep peace.
“I want to read too!” Xuanxuan suddenly said after we recited the last sentence:
“And any cultivator who is able to become one with Dafa is an enlightened one—divine.” (“On Dafa (Lunyu)”, Falun Dafa Essentials For Further Advancement)
He sounded like a new person in a matter of minutes. The female practitioner said she would pass Lunyu to him, and she asked me to find Dafa books and other Dafa materials for him.
Practitioners in our area were very happy for Xuanxuan when they heard the news. Some donated their well-preserved or new Dafa books. I collected them for him in the following days.
We delivered Zhuan Falun, Hong Yin III, Hong Yin IV, and a flash drive with additional Dafa books, lectures, and the exercise music to him. He smiled and thanked us upon the delivery. Xuanxuan had finally broken from his illusion and returned to Dafa!
