(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in downtown Helsinki on Saturday, March 30, 2019, to raise awareness of the ongoing human rights abuses in China.
Local residents took the opportunity to learn about the persecution of Falun Gong and express their support for practitioners' tireless efforts to end the persecution.

A young woman had been told about the signature collection by her friend, a Falun Gong practitioner whose family had been persecuted in China. The woman brought two other friends with her to sign the petition. The three friends listened as a Falun Gong practitioner explained how the Chinese Communist Party broadcast deceptive propaganda about Falun Gong while brutally persecuting practitioners. The woman said, “I like my friend [the Falun Gong practitioner]. She and her family are very nice people. All of you are nice. I'm sure she is following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance as you said.”
Christian, a senior French professor who works in a research institute in Finland, was appalled to learn that the CCP is harvesting organs from a large number of living Falun Gong practitioners. He invited practitioners to tell his colleagues at his research institute about the organ harvesting atrocities in China. “They need to know,” he said, “They will also help you spread the word.”
Another man told a Falun Gong practitioner, “I know your situation. I used to see Falun Gong activities in Esplanadi Park.” The practitioner told him that practitioners had moved their activities to Sibelius Park, because it is a place many Chinese tourists visit and the Chinese people had been deceived by the CCP and blocked from accessing true, uncensored information. The gentleman said, “Yes, I understand what you do pretty well. It's great and very important!” He said he had actually stopped to get some brochures to give to his friends.
