(Minghui.org) May 13 was Master Li Hongzhi's birthday and the anniversary of the day that he first introduced Falun Dafa to the public in China's northeastern city of Changchun in 1992. To honor this special day, Falun Dafa Associations worldwide designated May 13th as “World Falun Dafa Day” in 2000. May 13th this year marked its 20th anniversary.
Hundreds of practitioners in Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Pingtung, Taiwan, celebrated the 20th annual World Falun Dafa Day on May 4 and 5, 2019.
Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Practitioners gathered at the Ciaotou Sugar Refinery in Kaohsiung on May 5 to do the exercises together and perform traditional Chinese dances, play their instruments, and sing.

Practitioner Kao is a high school student. He used to be obsessed with his grades. But after he stopped pursuing better scores and focused on learning and mastering a given subject, his grades improves.

Mr. Ng is from Vietnam. He said he had many attachments, such as competitiveness, but he has changed for the better. His father, sister, and wife are all practitioners and they live together in harmony.

Ms. Cai said, “Cultivation is not easy, but it is wonderful!” She said she participated in the parade to show the onlookers that Falun Dafa is great and magnificent.

“Obtaining Falun Dafa is the best thing in the world. I want to share it with everyone.”
Pingtung, Taiwan
Nearly 200 Pingtung Falun Dafa practitioners held Falun Dafa activities on May 5 in Sheding Natural Park in Kenting. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and shared their experiences of improving their character and health by following the guiding principles of Falun Dafa. They picked up trash along a rocky beach of the coastline.

Ms. He expressed her gratitude to Falun Dafa for enabling her to escape domestic violence. She said that, by following the principles taught in Zhuan Falun, she was able to face all her tribulations with sincerity, kindness, and tolerance. Now, everyone in her family gets along well.
