I have been clarifying the facts about Falun Dafa to Chinese tourists at tourist sites and help them understand the evilness of the Chinese Communists Party (CCP). I hope that through my efforts they have a chance to renounce the oath they made to the CCP and its youth organizations, and choose a better future for themselves.
Every day I encounter tourists with different attitudes, which provides a lot of opportunities to test my xinxing. My various attachments have been exposed as a result. I learned to look inward unconditionally, and have been able to get rid of the attachments.
Looking Inwards Is a Magic Weapon
Once, a bus with Chinese tourists came to Mount Eden. As usual, I greeted them and told them that the CCP tells lies about Falun Dafa. Then I turned on an audio recording that provided more information. But soon a male tour guide came over. He shouted: “Stop doing this! You are not allowed to harass my group!”
I said to him, “This is a rare opportunity for people. Let them listen to the truth. Do you know the consequences of Chinese people not knowing the truth? When the disaster comes, your interference in their hearing this information will not be good for you.”
The tour guide got angry and said, “If you follow us up to the mountain, I will beat you up!” He was very threatening and seemed like he really meant it. Hence, I didn’t follow them.
When I got home that evening, I recalled what happened that day and looked inward at my behavior. I had met this tour guide many times. Why had he behaved abnormally today? He cursed me and threatened to hit me. What did I do wrong?
I realized that my voice was very loud when I was describing the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. It sounded like I was giving orders. I was still behaving according to the Party's indoctrination and spoke without compassion. How could I help people using such a voice?
Also, when I heard that the tour guide wouldn't allow me to follow the group up the mountain, I became stubborn and thought, “Why should I listen to him?” This was an indication that I still had the attachment of competitiveness. I planned to follow them until the tour guide threatened to hit me. I regretted my actions.
Next day I went to the site again at noon. The same tour guide led another group of Chinese tourists. Seeing me, he came over and said to me kindly, “Auntie, what do you have for us today? Show me. Sorry. I treated you wrongly yesterday.”
“It was my fault,” I said. “I didn’t consider your clients yesterday. My voice was too loud. In the future, please point out anything that I might be doing wrong.”
He smiled and said that he would.
Through this incident, I realized that looking inward is indeed a magic weapon.
Sincere Apology Awakened People's Goodness
I recall another incident that happened at the lakeside attractions in Rotorua. A group of students and their parents from Mainland China had arrived there. They got off the bus and took pictures of the black swans and white pigeons on the lake. I handed them booklets about Falun Dafa. Two students took the materials. I played a voice recording to let them know more about the evilness of the CCP. Twenty minutes later, they were ready to leave.
I followed the group and said, “You heard the recording. This is not propaganda. It is the truth. Why have over 300 million Chinese people quit the CCP? Because they learned the facts. Please let me know if you understand. I can help you quit the CCP using a pseudonym.”
However, even though they listened no one said anything. I felt really sad and regretted that I hadn't done well, thereby causing them to lose this opportunity to liberate themselves. I told them, “I am not able to help you understand the evilness of the CCP due to my limitations. I'm sorry. I did not do well. I let you down. Please quit the CCP later if possible.” Those words came from my heart.
I felt so sad. But before they got on the bus, some people turned around and waved to me, and said, “Auntie, we understand. Thank you.”
I was touched. I realized what it meant to do things with your heart. My sincere apology touched them and inspired their goodness. There are many of these kinds of stories that have happened on my cultivation path.
