(Minghui.org) A 75-year-old woman has been held in incommunicado for four months after she was arrested for talking to people about her faith in Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Pang Yongfeng, a resident of Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province, traveled to Foshan City in the same province to visit her daughters in September 2019. She was reported for passing out informational materials about Falun Gong and talking to people about it. The police followed and arrested her.
The police ransacked her two daughters’ homes in Foshan City. Both daughters and their husbands were held at the local police station for one day.
The police first held Ms. Pang at Shishan Detention Center. When her daughters went there to visit her, the guards refused to grant them a meeting with their mother and also refused to take the clothes they sent her.
When her daughters went to the detention center again recently, a guard revealed that Ms. Pang has been transferred to another detention facility in Shunde District, but he refused to reveal the exact location.
As the Chinese New Year is coming in a few weeks, Ms. Pang’s daughters are calling for the immediate release of their mother.
