(Minghui.org) I received a phone call from the director of our local police station around 8 a.m. on August 25, 2015. He asked me if I had filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party. I confirmed that I had. The director told me to come to the police station. When I refused he said he would visit me instead.
Thirty minutes later the director and a police officer came to my home. The director asked, “Do you still practice Falun Dafa?”
“Yes,” I replied, “Dafa is great! Why would I give it up? I haven't needed to take any medicine for 16 years since I started practicing.”
The director changed the topic, “I'm here today about your lawsuit against Jiang. I have everything you filed.”
I admitted that I sued Jiang because he persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. “How can you blindly carry out his orders?” I asked, “What's wrong with practicing Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? Don't persecute good people.”
The director said, “Listen to me. I'm doing this for your own good. Sign here and tell me you won't practice any more. Don't admit you've sued Jiang.”
“I can't,” I said. “I can't lie. I practice being Truthful.”
“All right,” he sighed, “Come with us to the police station.”
On the way there I remained calm and told them about Falun Dafa. I told them that good people are rewarded and bad people are punished. I advised them not to participate in the persecution. “Last year, a woman from our village died. She was reported to your station for distributing Falun Dafa flyers. You detained her for a week. She was finally released but was too afraid to do the exercises or study the teachings. She got sick and passed away.”
The director seemed disturbed by what I said. “No, we won't throw you into the same trouble!” He turned the car around and brought me home, even though he knew that his upper level administrators were waiting for me at the police station.
No one has harassed me since then. I heard that the director of the police station recently retired.
