(Minghui.org) Before the U.S. presidential election, my local fellow practitioners and I all knew that we would support and vote for President Trump. Based on some of the media reports and our own judgment, we felt certain that he'd be re-elected. Therefore, I never thought about sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate possible interference in the months leading up to the election.
What happened on and after the election day shocked us. We felt very sad. We couldn’t accept the result and yet didn’t know what to do. Not until the Minghui editorial “We Must Know and Be Clearheaded about Our Principles and Fundamentals” was published on November 7, did we realize that this is the battle between good and evil and we should send forth righteous thoughts about it.
One practitioner suggested that we should include a thought about the Supreme Court of the United States in our righteous thoughts. I feel this is a very important and timely reminder.
There are nine Justices in the Supreme Court, six of whom are considered conservative and three liberal. But the Chief Justice, John Roberts, who is deemed as holding a conservative judicial philosophy, has aligned with the liberal bloc on several occasions. And another conservative member has also joined his liberal colleagues in one ruling.
After sharing with each other, we feel that we should send righteous thoughts to eliminate the factors of the communism specter that is trying to prevent President Trump from being re-elected by manipulating those in the human world, including the media and the Supreme Court.
I welcome fellow practitioners to point out to me anything improper.
