(Minghui.org) Around 12 a.m. on November 12, 2020, a group of armed officers smashed Ms. Jin Fengyu’s door and broke into her home in Baoding City, Hebei Province.
Ms. Jin is a vice president of the Dawu Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Group. That night, a dozen other executives of the company, including Mr. Sun Dawu, founder of the company and a famous Chinese entrepreneur, as well as several of Mr. Sun’s family members, were also taken away by the police.
While Mr. Sun was targeted for his criticism of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Ms. Jin was arrested for her faith in Falun Gong, a mind-body discipline that has been persecuted by the CCP.
In the past 21 years, Ms. Jin, a former high school teacher and author in her 50s, has been constantly arrested, home-ransacked, and harassed for her faith. Her husband, who taught in the same school and also practices Falun Gong, wasn’t spared from the persecution either. The couple lived in fear and were forced to resign from their jobs as teachers and forced into displacement.
During the CCP’s 18th National Congress in 2012, Ms. Jin was stopped at a toll booth on the highway and arrested after the police found that she was a Falun Gong practitioner by scanning her ID. There were a few more times when she was body-searched while going to Beijing on business trips.
Ms. Jin was harassed in 2015 for filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party for ordering the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Jin’s current whereabouts are unknown. Her family is calling on the international community to help rescue her.
