(Minghui.org) The United States election has attracted the attention of the whole world. The battle is at its climax and it seems difficult to tell who will win on the surface.
The Trump team hopes to make persistent efforts to bring the United States back to tradition, restore reverence to God, respect life, combat terrorists, continue to fight against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), communism and the ideology it represents, and make the United States strong again.
The leftists go against tradition and want to engage in socialism in the United States and even the world. Mainstream media and social media in the United States have refused to report on or have censored reports about the Democratic Party’s fraud and its presidential candidate's son's scandals. Meanwhile, they have spared no effort to discredit President Trump, block his team, and even his formal speeches, and label the mounting evidence presented by his legal team as “speculative.”
Threatened and intimidated by the left, Emily Murphy, administrator of the General Services Administration, informed the democratic candidate's team on November 23 that the agency would assist in the transition of power. In emails sent to various federal government agencies and the democratic candidate, Murphy mentioned that some people had tried to coerce her to make this decision prematurely and made thousands of threats to her, her family, her personnel and even her pets via the web, phone and email.
What’s happening made me think of the spectacular American film trilogy “The Lord of the Rings.” I would like to share some of my understandings of the film.
The Demon Army Built Momentum With Lies in the Battle Between Good and Evil
Mount Doom and Mordor described in “The Lord of the Rings” are all located in Middle-earth (China). The road to Mordor “turns left.” Mordor is dark under the rule of the Dark Lord Sauron and the only colors are from the Lidless Eye and the flames of Mount Doom. Orcs are the residents of Mordor and are hidden in a haze all day long.
The “Fellowship of the Ring” was divided into two groups. One confronted the Orcs and demons and fought on the battlefield. The other group took the One Ring to Mount Doom for destruction.
In the final battle of “The Return of the King,” the third volume of the film, the royal heir Aragorn led the Armies of the West to march into Mordor.
In the meantime, Frodo, Sam and Gollum arrived at Mount Doom after untold hardships. Frodo was about to throw the One Ring in his hand into the lava to destroy it.
The scene changed. Aragorn led the Army of the West to the Black Gate for a battle. The Black Gate opened and a “thing” came out on horseback. It was an Orc who looked very disgusting. This “thing” said to the leaders of the coalition army, “My master, the great Sauron, bids thee welcome.” In addition to bragging, this “thing” also said, “Is there any in this rout with the authority to treat with me?” It then took out Frodo's vest and claimed that Frodo had been tortured to death, which was a lie. It told of the tragic process of torturing Frodo. It spread lies because Frodo was responsible for destroying the One Ring. His death meant it was impossible for mankind to win victory and meant the evil would devour mankind and the entire world, turning the entire world into Mordor.
This scene is like a metaphor for the current situation with the U.S. presidential election. The democratic candidate declared himself president-elect. The media has spread overwhelming rumors, claiming President Trump had conceded and the leaders of many countries have congratulated the democratic candidate. Various gangs and Antifa have threatened, induced, or intimidated President Trump’s supporters using every means.
Pressed by grief and despair, Aragorn drew his sword and with a wave of his hand, he cut off the Orc's head which flew through the air.
I was quite surprised when I watched this. I didn't expect that the seemingly powerful and mysterious “thing” would turn out to be so vulnerable.
With Numerous Demons Pressing On, the Prince Took the Lead and Fought Bravely
The Black Gate opened at this moment. A large army of Orcs crushed over. They shouted slogans and pressed neatly toward the Army of the West. The number of them was too large to describe. Because of the great disparity between the two forces, the Orcs surrounded Aragon’s army.
Aragorn whipped his horse and came to the front of the crowd. He shouted, “Sons of Gondor! Of Rohan! My brothers!”
“I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me! A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand! Men of the West!” He then took the lead and rushed toward the enemy.
This scene reminds me of what President Trump said in the commencement remarks at the United States Coast Guard Academy on May 17, 2017, “Over the course of your life, you will find that things are not always fair. You will find that things happen to you that you do not deserve and that is not always warranted. But you have to put your head down and fight, fight, fight. Never, ever, ever give up.”
Of course, one thing is completely different. President Trump firmly believes in God while Aragorn believes that mankind will eventually be destroyed by evil.
President Trump also said at the Liberty University commencement speech on May 13, 2017, “We are one nation under God... The more that a broken system tells you that you’re wrong, the more certain you should be that you must keep pushing ahead, you must keep pushing forward. And always have the courage to be yourself.”
The coalition and the Orcs then fought a desperate battle.
The Messenger Was Tempted and His Attachment Affects the Battle
On the other side, Frodo was under the control of the One Ring and refused to let it go for a long time. Sam shouted, “Destroy it, let it disappear forever, hurry up! What are you waiting for? Let go!”
Frodo stared at the One Ring. Suddenly he turned his head and smiled at Sam weirdly, “It is mine.” Sam felt so pained hearing this, "No!"
The moment when Frodo put the One Ring on his finger, the situation on the battlefield suddenly changed. The giant eagle evolved by Gandalf had originally forced Ringwraiths to retreat, and Aragorn and others also played quite smoothly. Suddenly the Orcs army became more crazed and powerful. Aragorn almost could not continue. Before others could have a chance to help him, a huge monster knocked him to the ground. His life hung by a thread.
On the side of the volcano, Gollum snatched the One Ring. He fell off the cliff in the fight with Frodo and fell into the lava with the One Ring. Frodo almost fell off the cliff, but he grabbed the edge of the cliff. Sam tried to pull Frodo up and shouted, “Give me your hand!” But the One Ring hadn't melted at that point and its magic power was still there. So Frodo refused to extend his hand to Sam. Sam shouted again: “Take my hand. Don’t you let go. Don’t let go.” Eventually Frodo grabbed Sam's hand.
This is like cultivators or average people who refuse to let go of their attachments, interests, and desires at critical moments. They are controlled by the One Ring, i.e. the evil and the old forces, and won’t even let go of a little profit. “Give me your hand” and “Take My hand” seems no different, but they are actually in different realms.
Although Frodo grabbed Sam's hand, Sam still warned him repeatedly not to let go and not to chase the One Ring.
In addition, Gollum was also a life to be saved. He went to Mount Doom with all his hardships, although on the surface he was only going to get the One Ring. If Frodo had not been tempted by the One Ring and let it go earlier, Gollum would have also been saved. Just like the people in this world, they are all waiting for Dafa's salvation no matter what role they play.
When attachments and temptations are being held onto firmly, the battle at the other end is deadlocked. When you can't resist the temptations and choose evil, a very unfavorable situation appears for mankind on the battlefield.
In addition to Dafa disciples, everyone in the world is being tested in the battle between good and evil that is playing out in the U.S. election. They are tested as to whether they choose light or darkness, to return to tradition or to move toward the abyss of socialism, to firmly believe in God and strengthen their own righteous beliefs, or give way to evil and retreat.
The One Ring Melted and the Orcs' Army Instantly Collapsed
At the very moment when the magma melted the One Ring, the Lidless Eye on the tower suddenly exploded and the tower instantly collapsed. The huge monster who was about to kill Aragorn immediately fled. Other Orcs also began to flee. As the tower crashed down, a halo expanded rapidly. Wherever it went, the ground under the feet of the wicked collapsed and the evil was buried. A war that seemed impossible to win ended in the victory of mankind.
President Trump said in the Liberty University commencement speech, “America has always been the land of dreams because America is a nation of true believers.”
“As long as America remains true to its values, loyal to its citizens, and devoted to its creator, then our best days are yet to come.”
This historical drama playing out in the United States gives everyone an ample chance to choose and express themselves. God is also choosing people.
It’s a chance for every person to position themselves in this battle between good and evil, overcome their inner fears, uphold justice and their consciences, abandon communism, and strengthen their belief in God.
Every cultivator should firmly believe in Master and Dafa, understand our mission, and let go of all our attachments. If every cultivator can follow the Fa and stay unaffected, the victory in this war between good and evil won't be far away.
