(Minghui.org) For thousands of years, Chinese people have believed in traditional culture and acting in the interest of the common good. But this all changed after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) took power decades ago. The situation worsened as the regime began to suppress Falun Dafa in July 1999, persecuting practitioners for their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Through the consistent efforts of Falun Dafa practitioners to debunk the negative propaganda from the CCP, more and more people have awakened to the facts and chosen to break away from the regime and stand with the innocent. Their righteous actions, ranging from directly supporting practitioners to reciting the phrase “Falun Dafa Hao” (translated as “Falun Dafa is good”), have in turn brought them miracles and blessings.

Below are two such stories received by Minghui.
Curing Kidney Failure
I live in Liaoning Province. One day in 2007, my cousin had gotten a fever. The village doctor prescribed the wrong medicine and, as a result, she ended up with uremia and kidney failure. The local doctors didn't know what to do, so she went to a renowned hospital in Jilin Province.
However, her condition deteriorated even after dialysis and some other treatments the hospital tried. Eventually, the doctors gave up.
“There is nothing else we can do here,” said one doctor.
I heard about this and went to visit her. Outside her cottage there was a coffin. I went in and saw her lying in bed, extremely weak. I briefly explained what Falun Dafa is and recommended that she give it a try. “I believe it,” she replied, “I am dying anyway—I'll believe what you told me.”
I gave her an MP3 player containing lectures from Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, and she began to listen. When I visited her again after a few days later, I found her now with the strength to move, though she was still bedridden.
“I have been listening to this all the time,” she said. “And my health improved a lot!”
After another three days, she was able to sit up in bed. I reminded her to recite the phrases “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
Not long after that, I was arrested for telling others the facts about Falun Dafa and jailed for five years. Upon release, I visited my cousin again. Although one of her legs was still not in perfect condition, she could live and move around like a healthy person. She told me that someone had taken the MP3 player and hadn't returned it to her.
“Through these years, I was able to survive by reciting the phrases you told me and holding on to the amulet you gave me,” she said. The amulet is a card which is printed with the words “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I brought her another MP3 player and gave her a new amulet. Once again, she smiled – she knew that Falun Dafa saved her life.
Surviving a Tsunami
Similar miracles have also been seen in our modern society. On December 26, 2004, the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami killed nearly 230,000 people in 14 countries. An article submitted to Minghui described how the author’s daughter and her friends survived the disaster.
“During Christmas in 2004, my daughter and her friends went on a vacation in Thailand. Twenty minutes before the largest wave came ashore Phuket Island, my daughter and her friends left for the Phi Phi Islands by ship,” wrote the author.
On the boat, the girl and her friends enjoyed the sun and beautiful scenery, totally unaware of the tsunami traveling under the sea from Phi Phi towards Phuket, the island they had just left.
“When they saw the ocean churning and heard about the disaster, her friends were scared. My daughter told them to recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ They were frightened, but my daughter told them that they would be safe.
“Had they left Phuket 20 minutes later or arrived at Phi Phi 30 minutes earlier, they would have encountered the tsunami,” explained the author. “A few hours later when they safely returned to Phuket, the beautiful island had become a ruin. My daughter saw many victims' corpses in the hotel where they had been staying. She donated all her cash to the local residents.”
All of the author's friends and relatives were amazed that her daughter avoided this disaster.
