(Minghui.org) A woman in Beijing is facing trial for raising awareness about Falun Gong, a mind-body practice that has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party since 1999. Her case is being handled by the same judge who sentenced her years ago, also for her faith in Falun Gong.
Ms. Jia Fengzhi was arrested on November 9, 2019, while distributing calendars with information about Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and put her on criminal detention. She has been held in the Pinggu District Detention Center ever since.
On December 4, the police searched Ms. Jia’s other residence, with the excuse that the prosecutor was demanding more evidence to charge her.
