(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in five cities or counties in two provinces, where at least eight practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Lijuan Arrested

5. [Linfen City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Guo Fenglian’s Home Ransacked
1. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Lijuan Arrested
At least eight officers from the Liudaogou Border Police Station broke into Ms. Li Lijuan’s home and ransacked it on the morning of March 28, 2020. They tried to take her Falun Dafa book, but she grabbed it from them and held it tightly to her chest. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Dafa.
Ms. Li was taken to the police station and interrogated for several hours. She was later transferred to a detention center, which refused to admit her due to the coronavirus pandemic. Ms. Li was eventually released and given a two-month detention, to be served outside of the detention center.

2. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Guo Xiulan, 58, and her husband from Jieshan Village in the Changping District were arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong at Shuitun Farmers' Market.
Ms. Hu Xingxian, 78, was arrested at home by officers from the Fangzhuang Police Station and the Domestic Security Division on the morning of April 23, 2020. Her home was ransacked, and three computers, four cell phones, and a printer were confiscated. She was later released on bail.
3. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Junran Arrested
Mr. Zhang Junran, 69, from Daduzhuang Village was arrested by plainclothes officers on May 4, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was taken to Shenze Town Police Station. His home was ransacked by director Di Liqi and officer Qin Bao from the police station.
The officers forcibly took blood samples from Mr. Zhang and forced him to sign a detention warrant. He was later released.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Kong Qingping and Ms. Yu Xiuyan Arrested
Officers from the Lijia Street Police Station broke into Ms. Kong Qingping’s home and ransacked it on February 25, 2020. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong. Ms. Kong was held for over ten hours before being released. She was placed under residential surveillance.
Qingdao New Village security officer Yu Zhonghui led officers from the Jinzhou District police and Sanshilipu Town Police Station to Ms. Yu Xiuyan's home on the morning of April 27 and ransacked the place. They confiscated her computer, printer, Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and cell phone. Ms. Yu, 36, was arrested and released later that evening.
5. [Linfen City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Guo Fenglian’s Home Ransacked
Yaodu District Domestic Security officer Wei Zhimin and several officers from the Ludong Police Station broke into Ms. Guo Fenglian’s home and ransacked it on the evening of May 3, 2020. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, copies of Minghui Weekly, and other personal belongings.
