(Minghui.org) Before I started to practice Falun Dafa in late August of 1994, I was in poor health.
Chronic lumbar muscle strain tormented me. To lie down, I had to lower myself, stop, and then continue little by little. It was even more difficult to change positions in bed. It would take me a while just to turn over.
I once had an ectopic pregnancy. The fallopian tube ruptured and I started to hemorrhage. I lost consciousness three times on the way to the hospital. The director of the OB/GYN department was afraid I wouldn’t make it. I had no blood pressure, and my heart stopped beating, but I was still breathing. Because my fallopian tube had collapsed, my abdomen was full of blood. But I was conscious. Because my abdomen was full of blood, the doctors could not give me a spinal anesthesia and had to inject it into my abdomen. During the operation, I could feel them cutting me open and I cried out loud. I wanted to die the pain was so bad.
The excessive bleeding and transfusions worsened my asthma. I tried Western medicine and Chinese medicine, but nothing helped. I developed emphysema. I was in the hospital every summer for five years in a row.
The doctor suggested that I take early retirement. I was only 32 at the time. I told her I wouldn’t be able to afford the medicine in that case. The doctor wrote a letter to the head of my company, and I was transferred to a less stressful position—watching the women’s locker room.
I lived far away, so it took me 50 minutes on my bike to get to work. Once I got there, I had to rest for quite a while before I could do anything. My colleagues would have finished the cleaning.
I despaired and felt that life was too hard. I thought of suicide. But my son was just five years old. I could not imagine how he would survive without a mother. Bathed in tears, I decided to bear it for his sake.
“I Have Master Now!”
One day, a friend said, “You should practice Falun Dafa. Cultivators follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance to be good people.” My heart was moved by the words Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—they actually made me feel good. The next day I went to a practice site to learn it. A few days later, I felt much stronger, and something was spinning on each of my fingertips. My fellow practitioner told me that Master had given me Falun and the Falun was adjusting my body.
After that, I was always willing and eager to work. I finished cleaning before my colleagues started. They were surprised. I told them I was practicing Falun Dafa and was now healthy. I thanked them for helping me in the past.
How Amazing!
Two months later, I heard that Master was going to give a Falun Dafa lecture series in Guangzhou. One day after practice, an elderly practitioner, Mei (pseudonym), told us a story about another practitioner, “Bo.”
Bo had recently developed symptoms of a stroke and was in the hospital. Mei went to visit him and asked him if he wanted to go to Master’s class in Guangzhou. The ticket cost 50 yuan. Bo said he did, took 50 yuan out of his pocket, and gave it to Mei. Mei was shocked. “You see! You’re good now. You could take money out of your pocket. You can move your hand!” Recovering from his surprise, Bo said, “Yeah! I am fine. I won’t stay here. I want to go out to practice. How amazing!” We were all happy for Bo and marveled at Master’s compassion.
Master said,
“Perhaps everyone has heard this statement in Buddhism, “When one’s Buddha-nature emerges, it will shake the World of Ten Directions.” Whoever sees it will come to give a hand and help this person out unconditionally. In providing salvation to humankind, the Buddha School does not attach any condition or seek returns, and it will help unconditionally. Accordingly, we can do many things for students.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
I took 10 days off from work to attend the class in Guangzhou.
“Master Is Here!”
We had just found a seat in Guangzhou Stadium when I heard, “Master is here.” Everyone started to applaud, and I saw Master. He was a tall, handsome young man with a kind face. He smiled at everyone as he walked to the center of the stadium. Master took a piece of paper out of his pocket, put it on the table, and began to lecture. Everyone went instantly silent and listened. I was amazed, thinking to myself, “How could a venue of this size seating several thousand people become so quiet so quickly? Master’s power is so great!”
After the first lesson, the Master said he would purify our bodies and take away the bad substances. Master told us all to stand up and stamp our left foot first and then our right foot. When it was our turn, Master waved his hand from right to left and said, “Pull.” Master grabbed the bad substances in his hand, then pounded his hand on the ground. As he got up, I saw a mass of black matter on the ground that started to spread, growing larger and faster. Master then lifted his foot and stepped on the black substance so fast that, instantly, there was nothing left. I could see it all very clearly.
“Look, the Great Falun!”
On the morning of the third day, I heard a little girl at the hotel say, “Come and see! There is a great wheel spinning in the sky!” All of us came out of our rooms to look. Some could see a large Falun, while others could see a smaller one, and some could not see any at all. I saw a Falun (law wheel) almost two meters in size. It was spinning in the sky and the background color was changing. It was gorgeous. The little girl then said, “Look, Master is sitting up there.” Everyone was in a happy mood.
In the afternoon class, when Master spoke on the subject of entity possession, he said, “Some people were already cleared of these things in our previous classes. I have already done those things for them and removed all spirit or animal possession.” (Lecture Three, Zhuan Falun)
I could just see that the air in the whole stadium was unusually cloudy and foggy.
Master Has Made Me Younger!
Before the seventh day of the lectures, our bus arrived a little early. I went to the bathroom first. When I came back, a practitioner said, “Just after you left, Master came. We met him in person.” I was shocked to hear that and regretted it very much.
The class started, and I was concentrating on Master’s face. Wow, Master’s skin so delicate, like a child’s. Even though I was on the second floor, I could see him as if I was standing in front of him. I could see so clearly. Master looked so young.
Later I realized that, just as I was marveling at how young Master looked, Master had purified my face. I looked 10 years younger! When I got home from Guangzhou, my cousins said, “You didn’t go to Guangzhou for nothing. You are healthy and look much younger. Your skin wasn’t like this. Now it’s fair and glows. You look full of energy. It’s pleasant to hear you talk, and I sense your energy field is especially good.”
Master made big hand signs on the last day. I felt very comfortable, happy, and secure. Fellow practitioners said my knowing side understood the meaning of the big hand signs.
Master has given us so much. We are being purified physically and mentally. Our moral standards improved. It’s been more than 20 years since I attended Master’s lectures. Whenever I think of it, it feels just like it happened just yesterday.
Master said,
“I think that those who can listen to my lectures in person, I would say, honestly... you will realize in the future that this period of time is extremely precious. Of course, we believe in predestined relationships. Everyone sits here all because of a predestined relationship.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
Since we have such a great destiny and have made a vow, we must be diligent in actual practice. We should do well the three things, keep up with the Fa-rectification process, and return home with Master.
