(Minghui.org) On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Gong which resulted in the arrest, torture, and killing of thousands of practitioners throughout China. To raise awareness of the ongoing persecution, Falun Gong practitioners in Czech organized two events in Prague, and practitioners in Slovakia held an Information Day and Signature Drive in Martin.
Prague, Czech: Activities on July 19 and Rally on July 20
On July 19, Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the historical Staroměstské náměstí Plaza in Prague's city center to demonstrate the exercises and hand out information about the practice and the on-going persecution in China.

Reenactments of torture and forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned in China
Several tourists stopped to find out about the persecution of Falun Gong.
Practitioners set up a tent and displayed information about Falun Gong and the persecution. They also reenacted torture methods and the forced organ harvesting Falun Gong practitioners in China are subjected to.
Many passersby signed the petition to stop the persecution and forced organ harvesting.
Practitioners gathered peacefully in front of the Chinese Embassy on the morning of July 20, 2020, to protest the persecution. A representative read an open letter to Xi Jin-ping, the current CCP leader, asking him to immediately end the persecution, release all prisoners of conscience, and stop harvesting organs by force.
A candlelight vigil was held in front of the Chinese Embassy in Prague, Czech, to commemorate Falun Gong practitioners who’ve died as a result of the persecution.
Slovakia: Activity in Martin Raises Awareness
Practitioners in Slovakia organized an information day and signature drive in Martin, a city in northern Slovakia. Some of them demonstrated the exercises while others handed out fliers.

Many residents signed the petition after they learned that the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners and forcibly harvests organs from prisoners of conscience, the main target being Falun Gong practitioners.
