(Minghui.org) At the annual Branford Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting in Connecticut on November 27, 2021, Falun Dafa practitioners’ waist drum team, lotus dancers, and float conveyed Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to all the spectators.

The annual parade resumed this year after being canceled last year due to the pandemic. Floats decorated for Christmas, Santa Claus, marching bands, and colorfully decorated trees put everyone in a holiday mood.
Spectators greeted the practitioners’ entry with cheers and applause. Many people shouted, “Beautiful!” “Wonderful!” “Thank you for coming!”
The waist drum team danced to the music of “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Jingle Bells.” The lotus flower team and float showcased the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. People were surprised to hear and see traditional Chinese instruments like the Pipa. Large banners proclaimed “Falun Dafa” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.”
As the Falun Dafa contingent passed the stage, the host remarked, “We have the Falun Dafa group, promoting Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance! Their costumes are gorgeous!”
Practitioners distributed handmade paper lotus flowers with “Falun Dafa Is Great” printed on them along the parade route. People were pleased to receive them and expressed their thanks.
The practitioner who coordinated the contingent said, “Falun Dafa is a great cultivation practice that brings positive and righteous energy. We promote the message of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. When people hold compassion in their hearts, positive energy will increase, which improves immunity and will help them through the pandemic.”
After the parade, a man who said that he had seen them before wrote down their contact information. He wanted to invite the waist drum team to future events in other areas of the state.
