(Minghui.org) July 15, 2020, was just like any other day. I spent the morning doing the Falun Dafa exercises, household chores, and studying the Fa teachings. Around 10 a.m., I was deciding what to have for lunch and suddenly found I could not get up. Something was wrong with the right side of my body. I could not hold anything in my right hand and my right foot wouldn’t move.
According to modern medicine, I was partially paralyzed and having symptoms of a stroke. However, I kept my righteous thoughts firm and believed that Master would take care of me. I thought about what attachments I might have and that I shouldn’t let the old forces take advantage of me just because I still have attachments.
My children wanted me to go to the hospital, but I refused to go and explained my symptoms were fake. They got worried and tried to force me to go. My daughter knew I wouldn’t go, so she invited my fellow practitioners over. We studied the Fa together and looked inwards. However, there was no improvement that day.
I said to Master, “Dear Master, I can’t afford to make any mistakes because my house is where we hold our group Fa study. Even if I have attachments, I have to be righteous in the Fa-rectification process. I can’t allow evil or the old forces to persecute me.”
I didn’t sleep that night. Just before dawn, a practitioner texted me: “According to your daughter, your son and your brother are going to take you to the hospital for treatment.” I told my children that whoever made that decision was creating karma and would have to pay for it in the future. With Dafa and Master, I said, I would be fine.
The practitioner came over at 8 a.m. and we studied the Fa together. I missed a few words here and there but she corrected me promptly. The night after the stroke, my children were worried about me and wanted to look after me so I asked my youngest son to stay over.
On the morning of the third day, I wanted to go upstairs to see Master’s picture. My son offered to carry me up, but I insisted on doing it myself. He was amazed. He took pictures of me climbing the stairs and sent them to his siblings. They were stunned that I was able to walk just a few days after a stroke without going to the hospital or being treated. This showed the power of Dafa.
After three days of Fa study, I was back to normal. I did what Master asked of us: “Cultivate with the heart you once had ...” (“Fa Teaching on World Falun Dafa Day”)
