(Minghui.org) I am an eight-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner. I started to listen to Master’s audio lectures when I was very young and started doing the exercises when I turned five years old. I enjoy listening to Dafa music and have seen the Falun emblem rotating in Dafa books. Whenever I see the Falun emblems rotating, I am very happy!
I asked my grandmother what “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” meant. My grandmother told me: “Truthfulness means that we tell the truth, and do things truthfully. We never lie or deceive others. Compassion means that we are always compassionate towards others and hold sympathy toward the weak and always think for others. Forbearance means that we do not compete or fight with others. When we are being hit or reprimanded, we should be tolerant and endure it.”
My grandmother is very kind to everyone and is even nicer to me. I was brought up by my grandmother and have a very strong relationship with her. Being around my grandmother, I’ve realized that Falun Dafa practitioners are all good people and the words “Falun Dafa is good” are deeply embedded in my heart.
I abided by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance when I was at preschool and was always a good kid, never quarreling with my friends. At school, I have never fought back when being hit or sworn at. I want to be a cultivator just like my grandmother.
In preschool I shared a bed with two of my friends. When my friends started to pull strands of my hair out one day, I endured it and did not tell the teacher. When my mother found out, she got really angry because I was almost bald and had not told my teachers. My mother even punished me for being too naive. I asked my grandmother if I did the right thing. My grandmother told me I did do the right thing and what happened was just a way for me to return my karmic debts.
My grandmother clarified the truth to a sentient being one time when I was six years old. I told her that I wanted to do the same and to distribute truth-clarification flyers. When I saw two elderly men walking toward us, I ran to them and handed them two flyers. The two elderly men happily accepted the flyers and praised me for being a good kid.
When my grandmother was making self-adhesive signs, I said: “Grandmother, let me help you.” I set the self-adhesive signs very neatly on some electricity poles and proudly said the characters “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” look very nice. My grandmother hoped that these words on the self-adhesive signs would remain on the poles forever and save sentient beings. I asked for Master’s protection to have these self-adhesive signs remain there forever. Till this day, the signs still remain.
I am currently in third grade. While I was in school one day minding my own business, a group of classmates surrounded me and started to hit and push me. My pants were ripped, my hands were scratched, and my knees were swollen and scraped with bruise marks.
Master said,
“...not fight back when you are beaten or sworn at..” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun)
On our way to my tutoring center one day, my grandmother and I entered a village. I started distributing truth-clarification materials with my grandmother. While distributing the materials, I saw someone passing by. Not only did I not get scared, I continued distributing all of the truth-clarification materials that I had on hand. I happily told my grandmother: “Grandmother, I got to save sentient beings too! I got to save sentient beings!” My grandmother said: “It is Master who is saving sentient beings.”
The teachers required everyone in class to memorize the “Elementary Student Conduct Book” [Editor's note: a book with Chinese Communist Party ideals designed for elementary school students]. Upon reading the words “love the Chinese Communist Party,” I would always silently recite “Falun Dafa is good.” The school also raises the Chinese Communist Party flag every day, and each time I send forth righteous thoughts and recite:
“The Fa rectifies the Cosmos; the Evil is completely eliminated. The Fa rectifies Heaven and Earth; immediate retribution in this lifetime. (法正乾坤，邪恶全灭。法正天地，现世现报)” (“The Two Hand Positions for Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts,” Essentials for Further Advancement II)
In addition to reciting the words above, I’ve also added “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Once when I recited this, I saw Master wearing a yellow kasaya sitting on a lotus flower smiling at me in mid-air.
My grandfather does not cultivate and often makes my grandmother angry. My grandmother was really angry at my grandfather one time, so I led her into a room and said: “Grandma, let me tell you something. You are a Falun Dafa practitioner and you should not be angry at grandfather, he is helping you to upgrade your xinxing! We need to help grandfather. You are doing a good job of being tolerant, but you can do even better.” My grandmother was very happy and smiled.
I started to read Zhuan Falun in March of 2020. I had a lot of school work and was attending tutoring sessions every Sunday, so I barely had any time to read Zhuan Falun and was only able to read up to Lecture Six. I will have more time to read Zhuan Falun during my winter break.
I am a young Falun Dafa disciple. My grades rank among the top in my school and I know it is because Master has unlocked my wisdom.
