(Minghui.org) Several Falun Gong information sites in Hong Kong were recently vandalized by thugs hired by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). In the early hours of April 12, the Epoch Times facility in Hong Kong was broken into and the equipment was damaged by four intruders. In response to this series of attacks, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally outside the Chinese consulate office in Los Angeles on April 12, condemning the CCP for its violent acts.

Practitioners held a rally outside the Chinese consulate on April 12, 2021, to condemn the CCP for hiring thugs to destroy information sites in Hong Kong, assaulting practitioners, and damaging the Epoch Times printing facilities in Hong Kong.

Calling on the Perpetrators Not to Participate in the Persecution

Dr. Li Youfu, President of the US Southwestern Falun Dafa Association gives a speech.

In his speech, Dr. Li Youfu, President of the US Southwestern Falun Dafa Association said that the information sites in Hong Kong were started to awaken people's conscience so that they can choose a good future. He called on the perpetrators hired by the CCP to sabotage the sites to read the brochures instead of destroying them. “If you understood the truth, you would regret listening to the CCP’s lies. They use money to lead you down a dead end,” he said.

“The regime uses people by giving them benefits to incite them to carry out the persecution. Then they use other people to intimidate those who help the victims, thereby persecuting even more people. It is a vicious cycle.

“Since ancient times, there is saying that good will be rewarded and evil will be punished. Falun Gong teaches Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. It guides people to do good. Those who participate in the persecution will be forgiven if they stop doing evil.”

Dr. Li calls on Hong Kong police, judges, and those who are misled by the CCP’s lies to make the right choice: Stop participating in the persecution. He also appeals to the international community and people from all walks of life in Hong Kong to uphold human moral values, and stop these thugs from carrying out shameless acts.

The Collapse of the CCP Is Imminent

Helen Li, who heads up the Quit the CCP center in Los Angeles, said, “Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong have persisted for many years in telling people about the practice and the persecution.”

She said, “Because people choose to quit the CCP after realizing that Falun Dafa is good, the regime’s power is disintegrating. Now, the CCP has extended its totalitarian ways to Hong Kong—this goes to show how terrified it is of Falun Dafa. But the CCP’s violent ways will make people realize its evil nature and, consequently, its collapse is imminent.”

She pointed out, “The Epoch Times Hong Kong edition has persisted in reporting the truth. Especially when so many media outlets are now controlled by the CCP, the publication has brought strength and hope to people. Hence the CCP hired thugs to damage the publication’s printing facilities.”

Those Who Do Good Will Be Rewarded, Evildoers Will Be Punished

Ms. Ye, a Falun Gong practitioner, condemns the CCP for sabotaging information sites in Hong Kong

Ms. Ye, a Falun Gong practitioner from Hong Kong currently living in Los Angeles, said, “I condemn the CCP’s violent acts. Hong Kong used to enjoy freedom of speech and was praised as the Eastern Pearl. Since Hong Kong was returned to China, the CCP has not stopped persecuting Falun Gong for one day. Now these thugs ruthlessly attack innocent people. I believe those who do good will be rewarded, and the evildoers will be punished.”

“Falun Gong practitioners will not be deterred by such violence. They will continue to expose the persecution and tell people how wonderful the practice is.”

Calling on the Hong Kong Government to Bring Perpetrators to Justice

Professor Wu Yingnian calls on the Hong Kong government and police to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Professor Wu Yingnian, spokesperson for the Falun Gong community in Los Angeles, said in his speech, “Practitioners have set up information booths in tourist spots all over the world, including Hong Kong. At these sites, they expose the lies spread by the CCP and raise awareness about the ongoing persecution. These are basic human rights: freedom of speech and belief.”

He pointed out that although the regime passed the National Security Act last year, it must not use it to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. He calls on the Hong Kong government and police officers to pursue the perpetrators, arrest them and bring them to justice.
