(Minghui.org) With World Falun Dafa Day just around the corner, Governor Philip Scott of the State of Vermont proclaimed May 13, 2021, “Falun Dafa Day in Vermont.” The proclamation was also posted on the state government website.
The proclamation reads, “Whereas, Falun Dafa is a spiritual practice that millions around the world have made a part of their lives; and
“Whereas, rooted in Buddhist tradition, it consists of self-improvement through the study of teachings, gentle exercises, and meditation; and
“Whereas, at the core of Falun Dafa are the values of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance; and
“Whereas, many feel that in Falun Dafa, they have found a deeply rewarding spiritual path and Falun Dafa is taught free of charge and open to all; and
“Whereas, local Falun Dafa practitioners have touched the lives of many residents through workshops, classes, and cultural programs, enriching Vermonters’ lives.”
