(Minghui.org) May 13, 2021 was the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day and the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. Mayor Kate Gallego of the City of Phoenix and Mayor Jerry Weiers of the City of Glendale proclaimed May 13 as Falun Dafa Day.
Yavapai County held a flag raising on May 13 in special recognition of Mr. Li Hongzhi for introducing Falun Dafa to the world.

Mayor Kate Gallego stated in the proclamation, “Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a peaceful and advanced spiritual system that centers around the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. These principles consist of five gentle exercises, which include meditation.”

Mayor Jerry Weiers stated in the proclamation, “Falun Dafa activities, including classes and practice that are offered by volunteers, are open to the public, free of charge and tens of millions of people in 100+ countries, including United States, have benefited from practicing Falun Dafa.”
