(Minghui.org) Due to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners these years, many practitioners in China have been driven into poverty. I’d like to share my experiences here.
I am an accountant. The first time I was financially persecuted was many years ago. The Security Department of my company found out that I gave articles written by Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, to two fellow practitioners in my company. They gave out my name when interrogated.
I stayed calm and didn’t blame the two practitioners. I admitted that I had photocopied Master’s articles on the copier in the finance department and gave them to the two practitioners. The penalty for this was that I was removed from my position and would be a janitor in the finance department with a wage of 300 yuan ($47) a month.
I told the director of the security department: “You can rest assured that I will do a better job in cleaning than anyone else.” I went back to the finance department.
I told the director of the finance department what the penalty was. He said unexpectedly: “Don’t listen to them. You stay in your position. I will not let other people manage the photocopier. You are still in charge of it.”
I felt so happy because I had photocopied Master’s articles for our local practitioners using that photocopier. We didn’t have a material production site at the time.
To my surprise, an officer from the labor union came to me the next day and said that because I was a female employee, my salary shouldn’t be reduced. So I still had the same salary. This incident ended on a positive note.
I was the deputy director of the finance department, but my boss always gave me a bonus as high as the director of the department. He said: “We will not let good people suffer.”
The state-run company relocated far away from my home, so I resigned and found another job. Due to my family situation, I worked in three different organizations and was paid well at each place. In every organization I let people know that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner. They respected and trusted me.
The owner of my current company doesn’t trust his employees. The company had to buy a laser photocopier after I worked there for a week. The owner asked about the photocopier again and again.
I called him to the conference room and told him, “I have practiced Falun Dafa for 24 years. I haven’t done anything that betrays my conscience. Wherever I work, I haven’t wasted a penny of the company’s resources.”
He didn’t speak for a while and wrote the three characters “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” on a piece of paper and showed it to me. He asked me if I practiced the system following the three-character principle. I told him I did.
He immediately said, “I have no worries now. My mother practiced it. I will raise your pay by 800 yuan, and your salary will become 8,800 yuan a month.” He also said that he knew Falun Dafa practitioners very well and that they were very honest. I received another pay increase six months later.
His mother had passed away. He treated me as his sister. He said that his mother, who is in Heaven, sent me to help him. His trust and respect for me came from his heart.
I haven’t suffered any financial loss since I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. In fact, many miracles happened to me. People respect me for my good character and the good job I have done at work. I am proud to be a Falun Dafa practitioner.
My understanding is that we have to change our notions and not lower ourselves because of the persecution. Otherwise, we might be persecuted financially. We are practitioners with high moral standards. We shouldn’t have low self-esteem and should do things in a dignified manner. Nobody should persecute us. We work hard and get what we are entitled to.
Let us become selfless beings, do the three things with a pure heart, and follow Master to return to our origin.
