(Minghui.org) Greetings everyone, my name is Chan Chan and I am seven years old. I was able to recite all of the poems in the first book of Hong Yin when I was three years old. When I was five years old, I could recognize more Chinese characters and could recite more poems from other Hong Yin books. I would like to share some of my cultivation experiences.
Studying the Fa and Practicing the Exercises
I studied the Fa with my father every night, and had started memorizing the Fa online. However, I started to slack off in practicing the exercises this year and I was not as diligent as before. I started to dislike studying the Fa and always wanted to play. I used to be able to sit still while practicing the fifth meditation exercise for half an hour. When I practice the meditation exercise now, I tend move a lot, and am unable to concentrate. I am also not able to study the Fa if it is too late because I am unable to wake up in the mornings.
I have recently been attending online sessions of young Dafa disciples studying the Fa at 8 p.m. and memorizing the Fa at 4 p.m.. I have started being more diligent in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. I hope that I can study the Fa and practice the exercises better in the future.
I sometimes get angry and talk back to my parents when they reprimand me. I need to restrain myself from talking back to my parents. My mother reprimanded me once recently and before talking back to my mother I thought, “I am a young Dafa disciple. I need to be tolerant and not talk back.” I thought of a sentence in Zhuan Falun:
“Nothing is truly unbearable or impossible.” (The Ninth Talk, Zhuan Falun)
I have a portable electronic device that is used for my online after school program class and for doing my homework. A friend of mine who was eight years old taught me how to play a game on the device. I became addicted to it and played it whenever I had time. My father told me that I would get addicted to playing games and it would ruin my eyesight. I got scared and did not play as much.
When this online after-school program ended, I decided to no longer play games on the electronic device, since I was afraid that my parents would find out. The attachment to playing games soon disappeared.
A Magical Tool To Eliminate the Demons
I was sending righteous thoughts at home one time when I saw an evil being. It had four eyes and six arms. At that moment, I had a sword in my hand. I waved the sword and the evil being was eliminated. I think Master has given me a magical tool to eliminate demons. I also witnessed this scene while sending righteous thoughts at Minghui School.
I was very shy in the past and did not dare to pass out paper lotus flowers. Later on, I was able to give paper lotus flowers to other people, and I once gifted someone a paper lotus flower and said, “Here’s a paper lotus flower for you. Falun Dafa is good.” They expressed their gratitude after accepted the flower.
When my righteous thoughts are strong, I am able to eliminate the evil. I told my father that I had eliminated the evil and he told me that I was saving sentient beings.
Heavenly Home
I have seen my heavenly home. While practicing the exercises at a practitioner’s house one time, I saw my heavenly home. There were rainbows, clouds, celestial maidens, and a lot of Buddhas. I also saw Master spreading enormous wings while flying in the skies.
I’ve also seen celestial maidens flying over my ordinary human-world house, and saw that my house was gold. When I draw, I also draw celestial maidens dancing in the skies.
My heavenly home is very beautiful and I wish to return to that beautiful home.
I will be more diligent in the future, because if I choose to slack off, I won’t be able to return to my heavenly home.
