(Minghui.org) As Dafa disciples, we all know how important it is to carefully manage funds donated by Dafa practitioners for truth-clarification purposes, but I’ve noticed some problems in our area:
1) The donor does not take responsibility for the truth-clarification project or follow up with it.
2) The fellow practitioner who manages the money dares to take any sum of donation, and sometimes does not even count the money. The cash on hand sometimes accumulates to significantly more than what the project needs, which violates the rule that we don’t save extra money for other Dafa projects.
3) The fellow practitioners who run truth-clarification projects are not serious about properly using the funds. In order to spend down the donation, some will print as many truth-clarifying materials as possible regardless of the actual need, thus wasting resources.
I believe that clarifying the truth is not about how much one does or how much money one donates, but about whether one has done what is required by Dafa or whether one can let go of attachments, cultivate, and improve oneself in doing the three things.
Master warned us:
“Wasting Dafa disciples’ resources is equivalent to interfering with and damaging Dafa.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)
I hope fellow practitioners will pay heed to Master’s teaching.
