(Minghui.org) With our truth-clarification, many people have come to understand the facts about Falun Dafa and subsequently received blessings, such as escaping dangers, becoming better-off financially, recovering from their illnesses, or even having their life prolonged.

Just as we all have different cultivation paths due to our karma and various attachments, the blessings that non-practitioners receive also vary based on the extent to which they support Dafa, and how much virtue and karma they carry. Therefore, people who treat Dafa similarly might not experience identical blessings.

For people who have great virtue and predestined fortune in their lives, they may only need a little help to pull through tribulations. But for those who have enormous karma and are arranged to suffer hardships, the blessings they receive may not be very obvious.

The divine and man see things differently. Human beings think that enjoying a comfortable life is a good thing, but in the eyes of higher beings, suffering hardships is a good thing. If a person is really good, the higher being may let him endure more hardships so that he can repay his karmic debts quicker and be truly blessed in the future.

There are also many people who have been arranged to obtain the Fa in the next stage, and suffering some hardships now serves as a foundation-laying process for them to obtain the Fa in the future. Some others experienced a lot of hardships in this life and passed away. They might soon reincarnate in this world and become a Dafa disciple in the next phase. We cannot see all these very clearly at our current levels.

Sometimes, fellow practitioners like to make such comments: “So and so who has learned the truth and treats Dafa kindly is now enjoying a good life and a smooth career,” etc. But for people who are having a tough life, they may wonder: I’m also kind towards Dafa, how come I’m not getting any benefits in return? Were they [practitioners] just lying to us earlier? Or maybe Dafa treats people differently?

Everyday people do not understand the underlying reasons for the differences in the amount of blessings, and it’s not something that can be explained clearly in a few sentences, either.

For people who value personal interests and benefits, they may say: “I will believe/support you if you give me enough money.” Dafa can offer people everything, but not in monetary terms, and things are not dictated by how everyday people want it to be. There are standards to follow.

In order to save a person, the higher beings may occasionally satisfy his wishes, but it cannot be done to encourage attachments. Dafa can bring benefits to society, but it is not disseminated for this purpose. Clarifying the truth with wisdom and in a way that everyday people can understand does not mean that one should try to satisfy their human attachments.

Some practitioners included money or freebies in truth-clarification materials. They might hope to attract more people to learn the truth. But it is not appropriate to do so. Instead of saving people, such an approach might even harm them.

Dafa was not spread to the world for the purpose of giving people some petty benefits. Master didn't use supernatural abilities to attract people in the early days, either. Fundamentally rectifying people’s minds is truly saving sentient beings.

I feel we should keep focusing on guiding people to improve on the basis of morality and encouraging their kind thoughts and human conscience instead of attracting them with personal gains. Dafa can bring benefits to people, but we shouldn’t be attached to this or try to clarify the truth and save people with ordinary human thinking. By doing so, one is not only being disrespectful to Dafa, but also potentially leading people astray.
