(Minghui.org) When I went to clarify the truth face-to-face in villages, there were many times when I encountered sentient beings who were arranged to persecute Dafa practitioners, but instead eventually learned the truth about Dafa. Their behavior has made me truly appreciate what Master said:
“… Lives are rescued, minds gradually awakened.Waking, police and citizens cease to obstruct ...”(“Glimpses of Goodness,” Hong Yin III)
He Could Have Gotten a 2,000-Yuan Bonus, But He Quit the CCP Instead
I passed by a vegetable field and saw a couple working. I walked up and greeted the middle-aged man who was building a vegetable shelf. He was standing on the top, and I asked him to be careful since it was pretty high. He gave me a friendly smile.
“Let me tell you guys something great.” This is usually my opening statement when clarifying the truth. “What is it?” That’s usually the sentient being’s response.
“If you remember that, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ it will keep you safe.”
“You practice Falun Dafa.” The man stopped what he was doing and said to me, “Do you know what I do? If I make a phone call now, the police car from the city’s police station will come, and I will receive a bonus of 2,000 yuan.”
I was very calm and said to him holding compassion in my heart, “We can’t earn this kind of money. If you earn this 2,000 yuan, you don’t know how many multiples of it you will lose. It will not be good for you or your family.”
“That’s right. So I don’t earn that kind of money,” he replied.
He got down off the ladder and said, “Let me tell you, the city has set up a grid-like team to watch Falun Dafa practitioners. I am a member and responsible for this area, and I directly communicate with the city’s police station.” He took out his phone and showed me the grid structure. He then pointed to the phone number of the city’s police station and said, “Look, as soon as I dial this number, someone will come right away.”
I smiled and said to him, “I can tell you are a good person and won’t do something like that. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good people. For those who participate in persecuting good people, it is neither good for themselves or their families.”
He smiled and said, “I have not participated in the persecution. I was once patrolling the streets here with another person. He was in front of me. A lady came over to me and began to talk to me about the persecution of Falun Dafa. I quickly told her to leave, because if the person in front saw her, he would arrest her. He has arrested Falun Dafa practitioners in the past.”
I was very moved. What a wonderful human being! I said to him, “You have protected Dafa practitioners, and you will be blessed for it.” He laughed with a proud expression on his face. I then clarified the truth to him some more and helped him withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.
I then asked his wife if she had joined the CCP. She said she had never gone to school, so she had not joined anything. I also asked her to remember that, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She smiled and nodded. I said to her, “Your husband protected Dafa practitioners, and you can enjoy the blessings with him!” She was very happy and laughed.
Police Officer: “I Don’t Get Involved in That”
One summer day, I went to a village to clarify the truth and saw a man in his 50s enjoying the shade under a tree. I walked over and greeted him. He smiled at me politely.
I said, “If you remember that ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ it will keep you safe.”
“I’m a police officer.” He directly revealed his identity to me.
I hurriedly told him, “When you do your job as a police officer, please do not get involved in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good and is here to save people. You must have dealt with Dafa practitioners, right? So you must know they are all good people.”
He nodded, “I know Falun Dafa practitioners are all good people. But, nowadays we still get orders from above, and the persecution is still severe.”
I told him that Falun Dafa has miraculous health benefits. Thus, there were so many people practicing it, which made Jiang Zemin very jealous. He decided to persecute Falun Dafa. I also told him that Falun Dafa has spread to many countries throughout the world, and asked him not to persecute Dafa practitioners, because it would not be good for him or his family.
He smiled and said, “I don’t get involved in that.” He also told me based on his professional knowledge, “When you talk to others about Falun Dafa, don’t bring anything. Especially if you are arrested, it’s better if they don’t have any evidence.” He then pointed to two senior gentlemen not far away and said, “You can go ahead and talk to them, I don’t mind.” So I walked toward them. When I turned around, I saw that he moved his chair back inside.
Police Officers Can Be More Complicated
Another time, I saw a man standing at the door of a small supermarket. I walked over to say hello. He smiled at me. I then said, “Let me tell you something great. In times of crisis, reciting, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ can keep you safe.”
Just then, a middle-aged woman, probably his wife, walked out of the supermarket and said to me with a smile, “You are telling him about Falun Dafa? His work is specifically persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Go quickly.” The man was still looking at me with a smile.
I told the man that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, and the TV and newspapers are spreading lies to defame Falun Dafa. He said to me, “There was a meeting in the village yesterday about higher-level people coming to check on this. So don’t go into the village and talk about it.”
He opened his WeChat group and showed me what was posted in their group chat yesterday. I wanted to clarify the truth to him, and I didn’t want to read what was on his phone. Just after I said a few more words, the woman urged me again, “Go quickly. Go quickly.”
I was about to leave on my electric bike, but the man suddenly stepped up in front of me and grabbed the handlebars of my bike with both hands. His attitude had changed completely. His voice became very intense, and he shouted, “Don’t go! What’s in your bag?” I was shocked by this sudden change. I wanted to break free from his hands, but he was holding onto my bike very tightly.
I was then determined to just face it. I took the bag from the bike’s basket, opened it, took out a booklet, and handed it to him, “Take a look at this booklet, and you’ll learn what Falun Dafa is all about.” He released my bike, took the booklet, and became calm again, “I’ll take it back to study it.”
I breathed a sigh of relief. It was his knowing side that wanted to learn the truth, so he didn’t let me go! I took out a different booklet from my bag and handed it to him, “I’ll give you another one to find out more about Falun Dafa.” He said to me as he entered the supermarket, “One is enough. One is enough.”
Those sentient beings who have been arranged to persecute Dafa are at the center of the lies. However, in the midst of Dafa spreading throughout the world and Dafa practitioners’ efforts to validate the Fa and clarify the truth for more than 20 years, many of them are gradually awakening. Due to the kindness of their original nature, they have chosen a better future for themselves. But in many cases, they face a greater resistance to understanding the truth than ordinary people.
I recall that once at a crosssection of roads, I asked a man to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” to keep him safe. He pointed to his belt. I didn’t understand what he meant. After a closer look, it was a belt with a national emblem. He was using that gesture to tell me he was a police officer.
I handed him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and told him, “With your work, it is not easy to learn the truth. I will give you this book and you will understand the truth after reading it.” He hurriedly declined. I offered it to him again, and he pointed to the camera at the intersection and said, “They can see it.” I deeply felt the difficulty of learning the truth and the helplessness of being a police officer.
It is very sad. These people are used by the old forces to test Dafa practitioners, and without knowing, many of them don’t even have the chance to choose their future. Once upon a time, they were also the kings of their sentient beings, and they also took an extreme risk to come here. But, they may be too lost in the human world.
I sincerely hope that fellow practitioners and I will cultivate great compassion as soon as possible. I want us to pull those lost sentient beings out of the swamp toward the light. Master has told us that we are the only hope for sentient beings to be saved.
