(Minghui.org) The Art of Zhen Shan Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance) International Exhibition was held in Balboa Park for the second time this year on October 9, 2022. The first exhibition was held on September 18, 2022. Falun Dafa practitioners held an outdoor exhibition that raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa.
The weather was bright and sunny and endless streams of people were strolling through the park. Many people stopped to view the artworks and were shocked to learn about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. They asked questions like, “Why is the CCP persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners?” “What are they persecuting a group of compassionate people for?”
During the two art exhibitions, nearly 1000 people signed a petition to end the CCP’s persecution. They came from all walks of life, ethnicities, and occupations. They condemned the CCP for its horrific human rights atrocities and expressed the need for China to be free of the regime.
Practitioners demonstrated the exercises during the exhibition and the melodious exercise music and tranquil scene attracted many people who wanted to learn Falun Dafa’s five sets of exercises. Some people asked for information about local group practice sites, and some purchased Falun Dafa books.
