(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 2000 in the hopes of recovering from my health problems. My mind and body were completely renewed after being cleansed by Falun Dafa’s founder and teacher Master Li Hongzhi. I understood why I had come to this world and experienced the happiness and joy of being at one with Dafa. I’ve also endured the frustrations and tribulations of true cultivation. I would like to share some of my experiences and the things I have enlightened to.
Being a True Practitioner
A large part of my life was filled with the frustrations of living and tribulations with my family. I suffered from many chronic ailments, such as, rheumatoid arthritis, pancreatitis, an inflamed gall bladder, kidney issues, gastric nerve dysfunction, and neurasthenia.
I learned by studying and memorizing the Fa that my life was a cultivation path that Master had arranged for me. I decided that I would follow Master Li to cultivate and be a true disciple.
I used Fa principles to evaluate everything, did my best to do things well, and looked inward whenever I faced a conflict. That way, I kept elevating. Master cleansed my body very quickly, and I enjoyed the feeling of a light body that was free of illness. Seeing the wonder of the Great Law (Dafa) and feeling lucky to be a Dafa practitioner, I strengthened my confidence in Dafa and my determination to cultivate.
My enlightenment quality kept improving after I read Master's teachings from lectures he gave throughout the world. I realized that our mission is to save sentient beings. As an earnest Dafa practitioner, aside from cultivating oneself well, one also helps to save sentient beings.
Remembering My Mission: Telling People the Facts about Falun Dafa
Master gave me my life, arranged my cultivation, and saved me from going astray in the modern world. I would not be what I am without Master's protection. I want to follow his requirements and wholeheartedly help Master rectify the Fa. I am involved in all kinds of activities to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and urge people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. I do these things when I go to weddings, funerals, gatherings of family and friends, and shopping. I do them when I do business, when I am involved in caretaking in the hospital, or when I walk down the street. I always put saving people as my priority. I bring the truth of Dafa wherever I go.
In the past few years I have walked all kinds of streets, wide and narrow, and long and short, in a dozen towns and villages, and told people the facts about Falun Dafa. I’ve talked to farmers, laborers, administrators, businessmen, teachers, doctors, students, county leaders and managers, police department chiefs, a court president, and others.
Many realized that Falun Dafa is the way to restore human morality and that the Tiananmen Square self-immolation was a staged event meant to defame Falun Gong. They know that reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” can protect one from annihilation.
The majority of people accepted the truth about Dafa I told them. Those who had joined the CCP quit its organizations. The managers, employees, and their families, who worked in the company where I worked all quit the Party's organizations.
When some Falun Dafa adherents were arrested, I went to talk with a leader in the police department. He interrupted me when I told him that Falun Dafa was being treated unfairly. He shook his head and said, “I didn't expect that you, a veteran manager, would believe in a cult-like teaching. Are you here to ask for leniency for them?” I said I was there to bring him good fortune. He said he did not want it.
Then he went on and on about the Party’s theories to give me a political lesson. He spoke for a long time, while I silently sent righteous thoughts to clear away the evil beings and factors that were controlling him. When he finished, I quickly said, “No wonder you are a leader. You are really eloquent.” Then I said it was time for him to listen to me, and I told him about how my body and mind changed after practicing Falun Dafa.
He interrupted me and said, “We were talking about you when some of us had a drink the other day. You had been looking sickly for so many years and were unhappy all the time. Now you walk with a spring in your step and speak with humor, as though you are a different person.”
I said, “That’s not all. Dafa can bring about many other benefits.” I told him about the power of Dafa and its ability to elevate people's moral standards, that Master told us to be good to people and to not fight out of self-interest, and that if everyone cultivated Dafa, the nation would save a huge amount on medical expenses.
He said that no matter how good something seems to be, one should not do it if it is against the will of the Party and the nation. I said, “Master Li and Falun Dafa practitioners are patriotic. We are not against the Party or against China when we tell people facts about Dafa. We only want people to know the truth. For example, let’s say you and I are good friends. You have been nice to me and do not hit or swear at me, and yet, I file a lawsuit claiming that you tried to kill me. Wouldn't you want to clarify the situation? Besides, we are trying to save people. We don't want people to suffer bad consequences, because they harbor wrong thoughts about Falun Dafa.
“Look at history. The CCP has always succeeded in what it wanted to do. But Jiang Zemin failed when he claimed he would annihilate Falun Dafa in three months. Falun Dafa has not only survived for more than 20 years, but it has also spread to over 100 nations throughout the world. Could this happen if Falun Dafa was not good?”
He said my words were good. I asked him to quit the CCP organizations, and he and his family rescinded their memberships. He told me six months later, “A staff member told me that he’d received reports that someone was distributing Falun Dafa fliers. I told him, ‘Don't worry. If they report that in the future, just drive over there to sound the siren and warn them off.’”
Seeing he was truly saved I was happy for him from deep within my heart. I told him, “God sees everything we do. You will be rewarded.”
I realized that the crucial point in determining whether one can save sentient beings is whether one can firmly stick to righteous thinking. Every time I tell people the facts, I think that saving people is the most righteous thing to do, and, with Master and Dafa by my side, nothing is impossible. I have only one thought in my mind, to save people. I do it without fear or other thoughts mixed in.
When I meet people who are poisoned more deeply by the Party propaganda about Falun Dafa, I clear away the evil lives and factors behind them and recite in my mind what Master said:
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth,ushering in springRighteous thoughts can save the peoplein this world”(“The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos,” Hong Yin II)
We I was talking, I felt like my mind was connected to a tube that kept feeding me words. With Master's support, things go smoothly when I talk with people about Falun Dafa, and most of them accept what I say. Those who are Party members will quit.
When I distribute Dafa informational materials, I always say, “Let them be saved.” My way of doing things is pretty effective.
Now, with COVID-19 having spread all over the world, only by making the root cause of the pandemic and the relationship between good and bad clear to people can we truly save them. I have had several close calls when telling people facts, but I haven’t been arrested because Master has protected me.
I went to a hospital to distribute fliers the other day and met a father and son. I asked them, “Do you know how to stop the pandemic?” The son said, “Don't gather, don't go out, and wear a mask.” When I said, “That does not solve the real problem,” the father asked me to tell them what I would do. I said, “Recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ and you will avoid the virus and have good fortune.”
The father said, “Didn’t they say on TV that Falun Dafa people tried to self-immolate on Tiananmen Square?” The son looked like he was shocked. He grabbed my arm and said, “You are against the Party. See how many people died in the United States during the pandemic and how many Chinese. If it wasn't for...” He said this as he dialed the police on his phone.
The father said, “Let him finish talking.” The son stepped back and moved closer to the door to keep me from running away. I smiled and said to the man, “Don't be angry. Your son is fundamentally a kind person. He is just poisoned by the CCP.”
I then talked about the fake statistics the CCP publishes about the number of pandemic deaths and what the true situation was. I told them that people have found that reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” is effective in fending off the virus. I told them that Falun Dafa has spread all over the world despite Jiang Zemin's threat that he would eliminate it in three months. Recalling so many movements such as land reform, the three antis, the four purges, the Cultural Revolution, and so on, who couldn't the Communist Party bring down when it wanted to? The fact that Falun Dafa has survived shows that it is righteous. The son relaxed at this point and offered me a bottle of water. I gave him a copy of Minghhui Weekly.
I took the opportunity to ask them to quit the CCP organizations. Both of them did.
I went to the hospital two days later to visit another patient, an old man who had just been discharged. He pulled my arm and said, “It's a miracle. I was rewarded. I recited the two phrases until I fell asleep after you left. I dreamed that a bearded old man offered me a cup of liquid medicine. I did not take it because it looked like it was just water. He said, ‘Your illness will be gone if you drink it.” So I drank it. The next day, I was recovered! Even the kidney stones were all dissolved. The doctor wondered how this was possible and asked me what had happened. I said, ‘The gods saved me.’”
I was so happy for him that tears of happiness and gratitude came to my eyes. I put my hands in the heshi position and thanked Master for looking out for the man.
I have seen and experienced many wonders. My understanding is that Master is always by our side. As long as our footing is correct and we strengthen our righteous thoughts, the positive energy of Dafa will flow continuously, and miracles will happen.
