(Minghui.org) I have a full-time job, so I typically join other practitioners to clarify the truth during my time off. For the past few months, I have been busy at work and my cultivation state was not good. However, I know my mission, so I joined other practitioners as much as I could.
The following is my recent experience of clarifying the truth at the market and in villages.
Deceived Vendor Accepts the Truth
It was Sunday, and I went to the local fair with a practitioner. Since I hadn’t clarified the truth for a while, I felt it was difficult to initiate a conversation. Nevertheless, I stayed at the fair looking for predestined people.
After wandering around for a while, I ran into a man and his granddaughter. I commented on how beautiful the little girl was, with eyes so big, as if she was from the Xinjiang region. The man told the girl to say “thank you.” She was well behaved, and said “thank you” sweetly.
I said to the man, “Sir, do you read?” He said yes. I said, “I’d like to give you a book titled the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. It talks about the things of your time. You might be interested.” He said, “I have been looking for this book.”
I said, “It is destiny that I met you today.” I gave him a copy of the book and a copy of Minghui Weekly. Having been a member of the Chinese Communist Part (CCP) for 35 years, he quit it that day.
I bid farewell to the man and his granddaughter, and heard a nearby hardware vendor loudly repeating the CCP’s lies about Falun Gong, including those lies about the “self-immolation.” I told myself I mustn’t let him spread that poison; I must clarify the truth to him.
I stood in front of his booth and told him loudly, “The ‘Tiananmen self-immolation’ is a lie. None of those people were Falun Gong practitioners; they were all paid actors. The little girl’s trachea was cut open, so how could she still sing at the interview?
“Falun Gong teaches Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance; there is nothing wrong with that. If the CCP says that coal is white, then is coal really white? We, the people, must be clear in our hearts.”
I took a copy of the Nine Commentaries of the Communist Party and a pamphlet, and said, “Sir, please read this book when you have time. We should live our lives with knowledge, and not be fooled and deceived.”
I thought it would be hard to convince him, but it turned out that he accepted the materials readily. He’d been a member of the CCP for many years, and he quit it that day.
The Man Who Offered Me Air for My Bike Tires
There was another big fair on the following weekend. I worked six days that week, and I had encountered some interference concerning a relationship at work, so my mind was disturbed. But I thought, “I’m free today. If I miss the fair, I don’t know when I will run into the sentient beings who should be saved today.” So I went with the other practitioners to the fair.
I walked in a big circle at the fair, but had not given out a single copy of the truth-clarification materials. I had offered them to a few people, but none accepted them. I kept walking, feeling anxious.
As I passed by a booth, a man holding a tire pump in his hand, asked me with a big smile,“Want air? It’s free.” I smiled back and said my bike tires were still full of air.
I believed he must be a predestined person that Master Li (Falun Dafa's founder) arranged for me meet, so I said to him, “Sir, you just asked me if I want air. I’d like to ask you, do you want to read a book?”
As soon as he heard that, he knew I was a Falun Gong practitioner. He told me that the CCP was not bad; that the bad ones were the lower-ranking officials who executed the orders.
I said, “We are not assessing who is good and who is bad. What I am showing you is the truth, and after reading it, you will understand for yourself whether the CCP is good or bad.”
There was an elderly CCP secretary next to him, and both of them said one thing after another to support each other, telling me that the CCP is not bad, but my heart was not moved.
I said, “Doing the ‘three withdrawals’ (withdrawing from the CCP, the Communist Youth League, or the Young Pioneers) can keep you safe. Please think about it, at the time when you joined the CCP, you raised your fist and vowed to dedicate your life to the CCP. Our lives are our own. The ancients said, ‘A promise cannot be taken back once it is made,’ not to mention a solemn oath. An oath is not to be made casually.
“I’m asking you to withdraw from the CCP. It is equivalent to withdrawing the oath you previously made and becoming a clean person.”
The man said, “I can dedicate my life to the people, but not to the CCP.” I said, “That’s exactly right.” He and the elderly CCP secretary both quit the CCP. I gave each of them a copy of the truth-clarification materials and an amulet.
The man said he wanted to buy me dinner, and the elderly CCP secretary left happily with the materials I gave him. I understood that their joy came from making the ultimate right choice.
One Man Followed Me to Learn the Truth
One day I went to a village I had been to many times. I saw a man who previously said bad things about Dafa. I didn’t want to talk to him anymore, so I rode past his shop.
I clarified the truth to two women, and they both accepted what I told them. As I was pulling the truth-clarification materials out of my bag, I heard the sound of a bike parking behind me. It was the man I didn’t want to speak to. He had followed me there. I was a little nervous, but not afraid. I had a thought that he was not allowed to interfere.
I immediately handed a pamphlet to him and said, “Sir, here’s a copy for you, too. I offered it to you in the past, but you didn’t take it. So I didn’t ask you this time.” To my surprise, he accepted it happily, and said the authorities were ignoring the fact that Falun Gong materials were everywhere now.
I asked him, “Have you done the three withdrawals?” It turned out he had not, so I helped the two women and him quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Even when I felt bad about my cultivation state in the past, Master would lead predestined people to me so I could clarify the truth to them. I am ashamed to have made Master worry. I will try my best to break through my human thoughts, rectify myself using the Fa, cultivate diligently to save more people, and live up to Master’s expectations.
