They read the Falun Dafa teachings and discussed their cultivation experiences. They talked about how they looked inward, and removed attachments. Every attendee said the discussions helped them to look at their own cultivation and be firm and diligent.

Miracle Happens After Practitioner Corrects Herself
Xiao Ru received a large sum of money when she retired as an English teacher. A friend suggested she invest in foreign currency. But she had little knowledge of how to manage her investment so she lost more than 100 thousand TWD (New Taiwan Dollar) in a short time. When she looked inward she realized she was greedy, and the loophole was exploited resulting in the loss. She corrected her mindset and thought that her money should be used to clarify the truth and save people.
She made an appointment to exchange the foreign currency back to TWD. One day she walked into an office and talked to a clerk who provided some suggestions and made some arrangements for her. A few months later, she was surprised to see all the money was back in her account.
She wanted to thank the young man but couldn’t find him. He no longer worked in that office and his phone number on the business card was not answered.
“I know that Master sent him to help me,” Xiao Ru said. “This money should be used to clarify the truth and save people. It cannot be taken away by the old forces, and no one can move it. With just this thought, a miracle happened.”
Remembering That Everything Happens for a Reason
Retired middle school teacher Li Yun talked about how she dealt with a car accident as a Falun Dafa practitioner.
Two years ago she collided with a car when she exited the highway. The other driver caused the accident, but as a practitioner, she didn’t blame him. Because she did not accuse him, the other driver took advantage and asked for 900,000 TWD in compensation.
Li Yun didn’t panic. She understood the accident happened for a reason so she told him she practiced Falun Dafa. On the other hand she refused to be extorted. In the end she gave the man 50,000 TWD for mental damage. He was very grateful.
Li Yun realized that everything that happens to her is arranged by Master. The key is to remember that she is a cultivator.
Realizing Cultivators Have Different Standards of Right or Wrong
For more than 20 years Yue-mei often felt she was wronged. She frequently became angry because she felt she made no mistakes but the other person was wrong. She was usually more tolerant towards everyday people but held fellow practitioners to a higher standard.
She began practicing Falun Dafa 20 years ago but she continued to judge people and issues using the rules of the human world. “I was very attached to ordinary people’s view of right and wrong and didn’t regard myself as a cultivator,” Yue-mei said.
One day she asked herself: Am I cultivating? She reflected on herself and realized that she read the Fa as a formality and thought, “I have read the Fa, and done the three things, so I have done what Master said.” But what Master really wants is for us to cultivate our hearts!
She is grateful to Master for not giving up on her. She said, “Although I realized my strong attachment so late, I got some enlightenment from the Fa. I deeply felt Master’s painstaking arrangement for my improvement after I experienced many profound lessons. I realized that I need to cultivate my heart to be free from attachments, look inward, and behave like a practitioner. Thank you Master for your compassion!”
