(Minghui.org) The 2022 Poster Exhibition on Stopping the Chinese Communist Party’s Live Organ Harvesting was opened at the UYart Gallery in Taichung City on December 10, 2022, International Human Rights Day. The exhibition will be held for one month.
Dr. Huang Chian-feng, secretary-general of the Taiwan Association for International Care of Organ Transplantation, said that this was an international exhibition held simultaneously in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. He hoped that through the exhibition of the winning works of the 2020 Poster Contest protesting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, more people would pay attention to the CCP’s atrocities and help end it. Some visitors said they felt it was important to pass the message to their friends so they could do their part to stop the live organ harvesting.

Dr. Huang said according to various investigations and evidence, the victims of the CCP’s live organ harvesting include Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghurs, Buddhists, and Christians. The majority are Falun Gong practitioners. The purpose of this exhibition is to let more people learn about the live organ harvesting through the artist’s creations. It is hoped that in the near future, organ harvesting, which renowned human right lawyer David Matas has called an unprecedented evil on this planet, will be stopped.

Mr. He, director of UYart Gallery in Taiwan, said, “The CCP’s live organ harvesting is illegal and immoral. More people should know about this crime, especially Taiwanese.” He said that the poster exhibition was very meaningful.
He said that it was important for people to truly recognize the CCP’s evil nature. It’s especially important for young people to have the ability to judge. He hopes that more people will spread the news.
Let More People Know the CCP’s Wrong Deeds and Help Stop the Atrocities
Liu Haobo, who ran a high-tech industry before retirement, said that this poster exhibition to stop the CCP’s atrocities should be held in all counties and cities in Taiwan, so that more people can see the CCP’s true nature and help stop the atrocity.
Liu said that he heard about the CCP’s atrocities many years ago, and many relatives and friends around him also knew about it. They even warned relatives who planned to travel or do business in China that “the situation of live organ harvesting (in China) is very bad.”
Liu also said that organ harvesting by the CCP is cruel, but he said that “the CCP can do anything.” He said that in order to achieve its goals, the CCP would use this method to eliminate prisoners of conscience, religious groups, and dissidents.
A couple went to the reception together and said that they had heard about the CCP’s atrocities many years ago. They said that the CCP should stop the live organ harvesting. They also spread news about the exhibition to friends via social media hoping to reach more people and get more support for ending the atrocities.
Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
