(Minghui.org) A fellow Falun Dafa practitioner’s younger brother contracted an acute lung condition in spring 2018. Since the symptoms were mild, he consulted a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor. After taking some pills, he developed a fever and had to visit the county hospital. The hospital scanned his lungs and declared everything normal. Yet he began suffering from breathing difficulties the following day. His doctor ordered another x-ray and found white opaque areas in 30% of his lungs. He was hospitalized immediately and transferred the following day to the city’s infectious disease hospital. Subsequent tests determined that besides suffering from a bacterial infection, he also had HIV.
Soon after reaching the city’s infectious disease hospital, the white opacity in his lungs reached 40% to 50%. He was placed on supplemental oxygen, and machines constantly monitored his vital signs. Further tests verified infections with three different types of bacteria. The doctor cautioned that this man’s chance of survival was low. The hospital had previously treated two patients with similar conditions, and neither survived. His doctor could only prescribe anti-inflammatories, corticosteroids, and other drugs in an attempt to save his life.
Although his doctor advised admittance to an intensive care unit so he could be placed on a ventilator, the practitioner’s brother refused to go. In addition to three different kinds of antibiotics, including one imported from overseas which cost 1,600 yuan per day, the man was also on supplemental oxygen, vital signs monitoring, and various other drugs. His medical costs spiraled to 100,000 yuan, forcing his family to borrow money for his treatment. Even so, doctors warned his family to stay mentally prepared for his passing.
When the Falun Dafa practitioner visited her brother, she saw his emaciated body curled up in bed. Chronic breathlessness meant he had to inhale high concentration oxygen around the clock. Lying on his side, he could only converse with her intermittently. The Dafa practitioner advised him, “Learn Falun Dafa. Only Dafa’s Master can save you.”
This practitioner had clarified the truth to her brother in the past. He also witnessed the miraculous changes that occurred in his elder sister and mother, both of whom practiced Falun Dafa. Despite being illiterate, his mother learned to read the book Zhuan Falun. His sister had suffered from rheumatoid disease, which left her joints deformed. She was cured after practicing Falun Dafa for two weeks. This convinced her brother of the goodness of Dafa and Dafa’s Master Li Hongzhi.
After describing many examples of people recovering from serious illnesses after learning Dafa, the practitioner convinced her brother that there was hope for his own recovery. When he agreed to learn the practice, she gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun. Whenever he had time, he began asking his daughter-in-law to read to him, or listened to recordings of Master’s lectures.
After learning Dafa, this fellow began to detect the presence of his energy field. After regaining some of his strength, he started practicing the first set of exercises, and lengthened his practice time as his stamina increased.
The practitioner’s brother was already on a dose of corticosteroids several times higher than normal, administered four times a day. One day, before the next dose of medicine was due, he suffered from severe shortness of breath. Just as he felt he was on the verge of death, he thought about Falun Dafa’s Master. With his remaining consciousness, he begged Master to save him. He instantly saw Master Li floating towards him on a lotus flower throne, emanating golden light. Master Li then placed a lotus petal upon the man’s chest. In an instant, his suffering was relieved. He proceeded to tell his family, “I’m cured, Master saved me. I want to go home.”
His doctor was amazed, and initially thought their medical treatment had been effective. A CT scan however proved the white, opaque mass was still in his lungs, although his physical condition had improved by leaps and bounds. This practitioner’s brother was discharged home three days later. As Master purified his body further, he continued to cough up large amounts of thick phlegm each day. A hospital follow-up a month later showed that his lungs had fully recovered. After a few more months, he resumed working at his job.
When the Wuhan coronavirus first appeared in the winter of 2019, the practitioner’s younger brother commented, “The symptoms of this new virus are identical to the symptoms I suffered during my pneumonia infection last year.”
Having been infected with HIV and three different kinds of bacteria, his condition was already difficult to cure. Moreover, his lungs had been severely compromised. However, this man’s belief in the goodness of Falun Dafa enabled him to experience a swift recovery. Having experienced the extraordinary and miraculous powers of Falun Dafa, although he no longer practices, the practitioner’s younger brother continues to remain grateful to Master.
With increasing rates of COVID-19 infection across China, I hope that more people will realize the truth behind the persecution of Falun Dafa and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations in order to ensure their safety.
