(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa 24 years ago and I experienced some amazing things. I never seriously thought about why they happened.
Master said,
“The thoughts of those who do spiritual practice can summon powers to do things, while a regular person’s thoughts direct the limbs or sensory organs to do things.” (The Ninth Talk, Zhuan Falun).
When I read the Fa, I suddenly realized that I had these amazing experiences because I am a cultivator and my thoughts are instructing my supernatural abilities to do things.
For example, when I distributed truth-clarifying materials, whenever I went to places that were not safe, I sent out a thought that nothing bad would happen. If the lights at the entrance to the police station were on, I said, “Light, turn off.” The light immediately turned off. After I finished distributing materials, the light went back on. When I pasted up truth-clarifying materials on the walls and the street lights were on, I sent out a thought for the lights to turn off and they did.
When I distributed materials in villages, there were many dogs. When I reached the village I first sent out a thought that the dogs were not allowed to bark as I was coming to save their owners. Sometimes it took me an hour to distribute the materials, but none of the dogs barked. When I met a dog at the entrance, I said, “Dog, leave.” The dog immediately left and did not bark. After I finished placing the materials, I said, “You can come back now” and the dog came back.
Another time a dog was laying across the entrance to an alley, blocking it. I walked up to the dog and said, “Dog, go to the main road.” It stood up and walked to the other side of the main road and I immediately entered the alley. After I finished distributing the materials, I noticed that the dog was still sitting on the other side of the main road. I said, “Thank you, you can return now.” The dog slowly went back to its original location.
Another amazing thing happened. On December 23 one year, I brought more than 80 pieces of truth-clarifying stickers to paste on buildings and street light posts. I went from village to village and I walked through three to four villages. The whole trip was over six miles. When I finished pasting the last sticker and was preparing to go home, I reached into my pocket and noted that my keys were gone. It was dark, and because I walked so far I wasn’t sure where I dropped them.
What should I do? I lived by myself, and no one else had my house keys. I asked Master Li (Dafa’s founder) for help. Then, I sent out a thought: “Keys, return to the last street lamp post where I posted the materials.” I walked to the lamppost and started searching the ground. However, I could not find them. I said, “Keys, please return.” I searched the ground around the lamp post again and a miracle happened. My keys were laying there. I was so excited! Thank you, Master!
Now that I think about it, wasn’t this a result of the thought that I sent out, instructing my supernatural abilities to bring the keys back?
Our Thoughts Are Powerful
When practitioners send out pure thoughts, miracles will happen. We’ve cultivated for so many years, but we are still being subjected to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Is it because we did not treat this matter with righteous thoughts?
Master taught us,
“With no factors at work behind the scenes, a human being will do whatever you tell him to. You are a cultivator and someone with abilities, and you are a being who is walking the path to divinity. Whereas that being is an ordinary human, and he is powerless.” (“20th Anniversary Fa Teaching,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)
If we used our supernatural abilities to disintegrate the elements behind those people who are persecuting practitioners, won’t they be doing what we tell them to do instead of going along with the old forces’ arrangements?
When the persecution began we did not understand the Fa principles of making use of our thoughts to instruct our supernatural abilities to do things. Usually, when we meet with problems, we use everyday people’s reasoning to resolve cultivation issues. How can the results be good?
This illustrates another issue: Why are there different outcomes for practitioners who are arrested? Some are sentenced to many years in prison while others are not. The charges against some practitioners seem flimsy and lack evidence but they are given heavy sentences. On the other hand, when some practitioners’ homes are searched, they have a lot of Falun Dafa materials, and it looks like they will be given very heavy sentences.
After they are arrested they keep clarifying the truth. They are just focused on saving their persecutors. In the end, the policemen drive them back home.
According to a Minghui.org report, two practitioners were arrested. One practitioner was beaten badly by the police while the other practitioner was well-treated. It must be because the practitioners had different thoughts in their minds. One practitioner thought of himself as a divine being while the other thought of himself as a person that was kidnapped and thus he was scared. This speaks for itself. The different way they were treated reflects the way the two practitioners reacted to being arrested.
We practitioners can make use of our supernatural abilities according to our needs when our righteous thoughts are very strong. We have cultivated for so many years. Therefore we all should have many abilities. As long as the thoughts that we send out are divine thoughts, they are powerful.
