(Minghui.org) More than ten years ago, Udumbara flowers bloomed on the mirror of a fellow practitioner’s motorcycle.
According to Buddhist scriptures, this little white flower blooms once every 3,000 years and it signifies that the Holy King has come to earth to teach the righteous Fa.
I thought that this would be a good opportunity to help people establish their faith in the divine and tell them about Falun Dafa. I shared my thoughts with a fellow practitioner and she agreed to remove the mirror so that we could show others the sacred flower.
I went to the police station with the mirror and saw the police chief.
“Chief, look. These six small flowers on the motorcycle mirror are the legendary Udumbara flowers. It is said in the Buddhist scriptures that when the Udumbara flowers bloom, the Buddha will return to the world.”
The chief was very surprised. He took the mirror, looked carefully, and touched the little flowers with his finger. They didn’t come loose or break. The white flowers seemed to be stuck to the mirror. They were as thin as silk, and the stems were flexible.
The chief looked at the flowers and said to himself: “Real flowers, real flowers, blooming on a mirror. It’s incredible. If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it!”
I said, “Legend has it that the Udumbara flower blooms once every 3,000 years and can only be seen when the Holy King of Falun descends on the earth. Isn’t it Falun Dafa? Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa. It teaches people to live by the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Forebearance to be good and improve, but former communist regime leader Jiang Zemin started the persecution of Falun Dafa and even ordered his accomplices to harvest the organs of Falun Dafa practitioners while they were still alive. How evil that is! Justice will prevail, and the truth will come to light. Whoever has done evil will have to pay for it.
“In fact, you police officers are also victims of the persecution. You are being used as tools by the communist party to persecute good people. On the day of reckoning, one will be held accountable for whatever one has done. You had better not participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners anymore.”
The police chief responded, “I’ve read Dafa books and know Dafa practitioners are good people.” He agreed to quit the CCP and its youth organizations and said he probably should consider a job change.
He told me several months later that he’d left his previous position and was no longer involved in the persecution. I urged him to recite the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” as it would protect him in times of danger. He thanked me and told me that he would remember.
