(Minghui.org) Some practitioners recently had the symptoms of COVID-19 and considered themselves infected. But diligent practitioners usually knew they were not sick and did not seek medical treatment as non-practitioners did. By cultivating themselves solidly and sending forth righteous thoughts, they gradually recovered.

But there are also practitioners who are confused as to why they got “infected” in the first place. How could this happen?

Several days ago, I felt a little chill with a body temperature of about 370C (or 98.60F). But I did not make a big deal of it. When doing the exercises that day, I had the following thought, “If it is a test of my faith in Master or Dafa, there is no need because I have unwavering faith in Master. If it is the old forces’ arrangement to persecute me, I would not acknowledge their arrangements. If it is eliminating karma, it would be all right as long as it does not affect my work, life, and cultivation practice.”

The low fever was soon gone. I did have a little sore throat, but it did not affect anything. In my mind, I was clear that I would never ever get infected with COVID. Even if the symptoms were similar to those experienced by non-practitioners, they were just a test for me.

Master has long told us that practitioners would not become sick. He said,

“Your spiritual journey has been well designed, and your body isn’t allowed to become sick. Really, it’s not allowed to be sick. That’s because no illness is allowed to invade you now; any pathogen would be killed by the positive energy you have. But people do create karma, and that karma will manifest in your body in a way that mimics an ailment.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2019 New York Fa Conference, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XV)

My understanding is that Master not only said the old illnesses would not recur, but he also told us what to think when “new illnesses” occur to practitioners. If we truly have faith in Master and Dafa, we would have a more clear understanding of any symptoms that may manifest and know how to overcome them.

These are just my understandings. Please point out anything that is not in accordance with the Fa
