(Minghui.org) I bought a set of furniture in a local store in 2004 and referred two people there. I thus became acquainted with the store’s owner. I told her about the persecution of Falun Dafa and urged her to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
She said to me, “One should do good deeds to accumulate virtue.” She not only agreed to quit the CCP herself, but also asked me to help her daughter and son to withdraw from the CCP’s junior organizations, the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers. I gave her a Dafa amulet. She took it with respect, and put it carefully in her son’s backpack.
When our local practitioners made some extra truth-clarification materials in 2005, she happily agreed to have us use the spare space in her store to keep the materials. This effectively facilitated our local materials distribution.
The electrical circuit in the store had an issue in 2007. Her husband climbed up a ladder to check the wire. The ladder collapsed and he fell. But amazingly, he was unscathed!
She said, “It was Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) who protected him! Thank you, Master! Thank you, Falun Dafa! Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
When she went to visit her hometown in another province the following year, she was drugged and misled by a stranger. Luckily, she came to her senses not long after and walked away quickly. She knew that Dafa’s Master protected her.
Her daughter got married in 2012 and had a hard time conceiving for a long time. I told her daughter to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day. Her daughter wholeheartedly agreed. Not long after, she became pregnant, and gave birth to a healthy boy.
Since then, when we needed to put more truth-clarification materials in the store, the owner’s husband often offered to help as well.
Their son also got married in 2016 and his wife gave birth to a son and a daughter. The three-generation family lives a happy life.
When the entire furniture market was in a downturn in 2017, they closed down their two small stores and switched to running a large store. Their business was not affected in any way and was always better than the other stores.
I went to visit them in the summer of 2020. She asked me for another Dafa amulet and expressed her gratitude to Dafa and Master.
Recovered from a Stroke
In addition to the furniture store owner, some of my family members have also received blessings for their support of Dafa.
My brother-in-law had three strokes and he got worse each time. He couldn’t move at all after the last stroke. I’d clarified the truth to him in the past. He even helped spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
When I went to visit him, I urged him to repeat “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I left him some DVDs and a media player for him to watch information about Falun Dafa every day.
He kept repeating the auspicious phrases. He gradually recovered and was able to take care of himself again.
My Cousin’s Limp Gone
My cousin used to have a Dafa book. After the persecution started in July 1999, because she didn’t practice, I worried that she would not respect the book, so I asked to keep it for her. She refused. Later I learned that she destroyed the book.
She broke her leg while riding an electric bicyle in 2011. The treatment was not effective and she walked with a limp afterwards.
When my sister’s daughter got married in May 2014, I had a chance to talk to my cousin again at the wedding. I told her that Dafa books are no ordinary books and that Dafa is the true Buddha school practice. I also told her the stories of people receiving karmic retribution for destroying Dafa books. I offered to help her write a solemn statement to admit her mistake and sincerely repent. She agreed and signed with her real name. I helped her submit her statement to Minghui.org.
During the Chinese New Year this year, when my cousin and I met again, I found that she could walk normally again.
