(Minghui.org) According to news media reports, a man recently damaged the “Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)” booth run by Falun Gong practitioners in Flushing, New York, on February 10.

Falun Gong is a meditation system based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It has been suppressed by the CCP in China since July 1999. At the Flushing booth, many passersby decided to quit the CCP upon learning from practitioners how the CCP has been defaming the peaceful practice.

Witnesses said that at about 3:20 p.m. a man wearing a black short-sleeved shirt showed up on Main Street where the booth was located. Coming from the south and arriving at the entrance of Golden Shopping Mall, he started to punch hard on the posters at the booth that had been set up by Falun Gong practitioners.

A video taken by a bystander showed that the man was not wearing a mask, and spotted tattoos on both his arms and chest. He had a grim face. In addition to punching the posters hard, he also stepped on them violently after the posters fell to the ground.

Moreover, the man turned over the table at the booth. Printed materials spilled to the ground, and he tore up some of them. Upon leaving, he also dragged away the posters that he'd damaged. These series of actions showed he came prepared instead of doing it on a whim.

This incident raised broad concerns. A reader in China who was able to overcome the Internet blockade read the news. After examining the pictures and videos, he wrote to Minghui and provided clues about the mobster. “This person looks familiar to me. He looks very similar to a person I know well, although somewhat fatter. But from the figure and action in the news reports, they should be the same person,” wrote the letter.

“The person I know of is Huang Qi (黄奇), a Hong Kong resident from Fujian Province who was born in 1964. He has several wives. Not sure about the first one, but I know his second wife was Zhang Nini, a sugar baby from northeast China. Zhang gave birth to two daughters. The elder one is Huang Ziwei, born in 2007, and the younger one is Huang Ying,” continued the letter.

“Huang Qi used to live at Sanxiangbigui Garden Apartment Complex in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. He stayed there as a sugar daddy. I used to work at his house and was very familiar with his looks. Actions reported in the news matched those from Huang Qi. He is fast and agile, and has many tattoos on his body,” added the reader.

We hope our readers can provide additional details on the black-clad man. Hate crimes are a threat to every resident in any community.

This is not the first time that Falun Gong practitioners have been attacked by pro-CCP mobsters. When former lawyer Cheng Changhe walked in Flushing on August 26, 2011, he saw Li Huahong violently pulling a short Falun Gong practitioner’s clothing and they were surrounded by more than 20 onlookers. When he tried to stop the violence, Cheng was also attacked by the crowd and he reported it to the police. On January 8, 2013, the Queens Criminal Court in New York convicted Li Huahong for harassing Falun Gong practitioners with violence.
