(Minghui.org) A Datong City, Shanxi Province, resident was sentenced to three years for her faith in Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Ms. Jiang Xiaoli, 47, was arrested on January 19, 2021, by director Geng of the Pingcheng District Police Department and deputy director Wang of the Dongjie Police Station. Another practitioner, Ms. Jia Liying, was arrested with her.

Ms. Jiang’s 13 printers, Falun Gong books, informational materials, and banknotes with information about Falun Gong printed on them were confiscated. Ms. Jia’s 13,000 yuan banknotes with Falun Gong information, her Falun Gong books and materials were also taken away.

Due to strict information censorship in China, many Falun Gong practitioners are using creative ways to raise awareness about the persecution, including printing short messages on banknotes.
