(Minghui.org) Since online Falun Dafa classes in Japanese became available in September 2021, people from many regions in Japan have attended them. They include people in Kagoshima, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Kyoto, Nara, Chiba, Shizuoka, and Tokyo. Even some Japanese in the United States and Russia attended the Nine Day online classes.
After watching the video lectures given by Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, and learning the exercises, participants said their health and outlook on life improved. Some said their stress was reduced and they became more considerate of others.
No Longer Stressed Out
Senka said Falun Dafa taught her to look at things from a different angle. “No matter what happens, I’m not worried. I know how to handle stressful situations,” she explained, “The Nine Day Classes gave me a new perspective and now I follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
Sachiho said she had been searching for spiritual guidance, which is why she was very interested in reading Falun Dafa books. When someone recommended she look into the online class, she immediately registered for it.
“When I was learning the exercises, my hands had a special feeling and my fatigue was gone,” she said. The more she studied the teachings, the more profound she realized Falun Dafa was, and she gained many new insights about life and society.
She recommended the practice to others. “My mother reads Dafa books and she and my brother began to learn the exercises. They’ve been doing the exercises together every week,” Sachiho added.
Many Questions Answered
Kawamura once saw two videos on the Epoch Times website, False Fire and another one that exposed the persecution in China. This triggered her interest in learning more about Falun Dafa.
“I still remember clearly how striking the videos were,” she said. “I was curious about what gave these people the strength to remain so peaceful despite the severe persecution. I was eager to learn the answer.” From the FalunDafa.org website she found the group practice site at a nearby civic center. Because the place was closed due to the pandemic, she signed up for the online class.
Shortly after she began to practice, the swelling in her feet disappeared as did the pain in her kidneys. “Some people may think it’s coincidental, but I know all this is so real,” she said. One time she skipped doing the exercises for one week and her health started to decline. That really surprised her.
Several times while doing the exercises, Kawamura said her hands glowed with light. “Since I was young I always wondered what life was all about, but I did not find the answer until now. I am very happy,” she added.
She also told friends about the practice. Some of them started practicing. “It may not be easy to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in this materialistic, modern world, but I will try my best and cultivate diligently,” she said.
Being Considerate of Others
After attending the Nine Day Classes and doing the exercises, Ueda said he lost weight and was almost back to normal. He had fewer choking episodes and he slept better. These improvements reminded him of the importance of doing the exercises.
By reading Falun Dafa’s teachings he also became more patient. In the past, he was easily irritated, but now he has learned to be considerate of others. “In fact, the number of arguments I’ve had with my wife has dropped by half,” he said. “I strongly recommend that people try practicing Falun Dafa.”
