The proclamation reads, “The State of Nebraska joins in celebration with Falun Dafa practitioners around the world as they commemorate World Falun Dafa Day on May 13th.”
“The core of Falun Dafa are the values of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance (Zhen, Shan, Ren) and millions of people in over 100 countries have benefited from it since its introduction by Master Li Hongzhi in China on May 13, 1992.”
“Through practicing Falun Dafa, practitioners have gained tremendous benefit in health improvement, stress relief, and an improved value system. Falun Dafa’s principles and peaceful exercises have helped people overcome the difficult time during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Background: What Is Falun Dafa?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings—which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—and learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.
