(Minghui.org) I was arrested and taken to the Domestic Security Division of the Police Department when I was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa at a square one afternoon. Two police officers interrogated me. They rather rudely asked me for my name, home address, and how I got those Dafa materials. I refused to answer but kept sending forth righteous thoughts silently. I felt calmer and calmer and became less afraid within a short time.
Suddenly I realized that I could awaken their conscience and save them. Once they stopped asking, I began to explain the truth to them. I told them that Falun Gong, also called Falun Dafa, is a high-level Fa of the Buddhist school. It teaches people to follow the Dafa principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and try to be a good person. I told them to often recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” to stay healthy and safe and help them become good people.
Clarifying the Truth
“I am in my 80s,” I said. “Since I started to practice Falun Gong, I no longer take any medicine. You can see how healthy I am! You are the ones who maintain social security and protect us normal people. I am certain that none of the crimes you have dealt with was committed by Falun Gong practitioners.” I also explained that the fake self-immolation case that happened at Tiananmen Square was staged by Jiang Zemin’s (former CCP leader) minions, and was meant to frame Falun Gong.
They silently listened to my explanations. When it got dark, I thought I must go home. As I expected, they let me go. They also wanted to escort me home, but I refused to accept their offer. I safely returned home under the protection of Master. I realized through this experience that many of the police officers are still kind.
Visiting the Police Department
Later, I discussed with fellow practitioners the importance of clarifying the truth to the police. One day, I took a few Dafa brochures and went to the police department with another practitioner. The other practitioner stayed outside sending righteous thoughts, while I tried to enter. The guard asked me whom I wanted to see. I told him that I was here for Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang was the director of the Domestic Security Division.
He let me in, and I walked to the office of the Domestic Security Division. An officer politely asked me to sit. He said, “Director Wang is not here now. How can I help you?” I saw that only he was in the office. I thought that this gave me a good chance to clarify the truth to him. I started to just chat about any topic, and then cut to the point of truth-clarification.
“Falun Gong teaches people to be good,” I said. I continued, “It hasn’t breached any laws and should be protected by the law. The former Chairman of the National People’s Congress, Qiao Shi, drew the conclusion that Falun Gong doesn’t hurt the country and the people in any way, but benefits the country and people in many ways after he conducted an investigation with over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners. It was Jiang Zemin and his minions who persecuted Falun Gong out of jealousy.”
I also talked about the Berlin Wall. I said, “Before the Berlin Wall was torn down, the guards in East Germany were ordered to shoot the people who tried to climb the Berlin Wall and escape to West Germany. Some guards really shot and killed people, while some also shot but intentionally raised their guns a little bit, and didn’t kill anyone.
"After East Germany was reunited with West Germany, all the guards who killed escaping people were sentenced, but the guards who raised their guns were judged to be innocent. I also ask you to raise your guns a little bit when you deal with Falun Gong practitioners, this is to protect yourself.”
Providing Warning About the Demise of the CCP
I also explained that quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations could safeguard them. I said, “Because you gave an oath to be loyal to the CCP when you joined it, when the CCP perishes, you will be their burial object. But if you quit, you will be blessed, and your career and life won’t be affected at all.” He kept silent.
When I was about to leave, he stood up and saw me off. I said to him again, “Please quit. It is good for you.” He said, “I quit. But please keep it secret for me.” I gifted him the truth brochure. He said, “Next time if you come again with the brochures, and if somebody asks you, you just tell them that you found the brochures on the street and came to hand them in.” I said, “Since you are treating Falun Gong practitioners well, you will be blessed.” Shortly after he understood the truth, he was blessed with a promotion to director of the police station in a town.
We got the new truth calendars at the end of the year, which were well designed with good content. A few practitioners and I decided to deliver a few calendars. We visited the director of the Domestic Security Division again. The practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts outside the director's office. I stepped in. The guard, who turned out to be the director, asked me who I was looking for, I said I was looking for Mr. Wang. He asked how I was related to Mr. Wang, I said I was his aunt. He politely invited me in with a smile. As I entered Mr. Wang’s office, he cordially invited me to sit down and asked how I came in. I said that I told the guard I was his aunt, he laughed. I said, “The New Year is coming, I am here to bring you the table calendar, you can put it in your home, whoever sees it will benefit and be safeguarded.”
I said, “The CCP forces you to persecute Falun Gong. However, among the 14 cults defined in the official document issued by the State Council and the Ministry of Public Security in 2000, there was no mention of Falun Gong. And have you ever seen the official document issued by the State Council and Ministry of Public Security that clearly regulates the cracking down on Falun Gong? Everything is done orally. Why? In the future, when needs be, the government can easily shift the responsibility of the persecution onto police officers⸺you will be the scapegoats.”
I continued, “Since the CCP assumed power, it has launched numerous political campaigns, the ‘Three-anti Campaign’, the ‘Campaign to Suppress Counterrevolutionaries’, the ‘Rectification Movement’, the “Great Cultural Revolution,” the Tiananmen Square massacre on June 4, 1989, and more.
None of the activists involved in those campaigns met a good end. When the ‘Great Cultural Revolution’ ended, the government began to eliminate the ‘three categories of people, the then director of the Beijing Police Department, Liu Changxin, committed suicide immediately. Kuai Dapeng, the famous activist in the Great Cultural Revolution who was received by Mao Zedong, was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. The well-known red guards' organizations such as the ‘Red Guards Corp’ in Beijing and the ‘Xiangjiang Thunder’ in Hunan and Hubei Provinces were all defined as ‘anti-revolutionary organizations’. Their leaders were arrested and sentenced. No matter what, to persecute Falun Gong means to persecute good people. The activists in the persecution of Falun Gong will be reckoned with sooner or later. Please remember the historical lessons and do your best to treat Falun Gong practitioners well.”
I asked him, “Have you heard that quitting the CCP and its affiliates can safeguard you? You can quit in your heart. Your career won’t be affected at all.” In the end, he walked with me to the exit of the building and said to me, “I want to quit them all.”
Arrested and Released
One time, I was reported and arrested when I was clarifying the truth. I was taken to the Riot Squad. But the officers there were not in charge of Falun Gong issues, so they called the Domestic Security Division. I kept on sending righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth to the officers.
An officer from the Domestic Security Division came. He was the director who had understood the truth and quit the CCP organizations. He saw it was me. He didn’t say anything, entered the office of the Riot Squad, and soon came out, then he let me go. Another officer said, “She hasn’t signed anything yet.” He said, “Sign what? She is over 70 or 80 years old, she doesn’t read and write!” Then I was released.
Many people working in the public security departments are also from high levels, and descended with Master to assist in the Fa-rectification, although some of them have committed bad deeds. But, they were forced by the CCP to do so, shouldn’t we awaken them? After they understand the truth, they can help create a more relaxed and safe environment for Falun Gong practitioners.
