(Minghui.org) On my journey of Falun Dafa cultivation, I came across many people who were blessed with good health after they learned of the illegality of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa. I would like to share three stories here to validate the amazing healing power of Dafa.
Story of an End-stage Cancer Patient
I own a clinic. A patient in her 40s came to my clinic in 2006. She began crying as soon as she arrived “My name is Lin and I have end-stage cancer. Right now I have a very bad toothache” One of the doctors at my clinic gave her some pain medication and asked her for a follow-up check-up a few days later. But she did not return. One day, I came across her on the street and asked about her pain. She replied: “I am dying, and I no longer need to see doctors for the toothache.”
She told me she was diagnosed with a periampullary tumor in 2003.
At the time of her diagnosis, the tumor blocked all the bile ducts, and the bile fluid entered the liver area, causing massive necrosis of liver cells, and the transaminases rose to over 400 (only 25 in normal people). The doctor she saw then immediately operated on her and found that the pancreas had become a hard mass, completely necrotic, and that the cancer cells had spread to all the organs in the abdominal cavity. The operation failed, and she was sent home. The doctor only gave her three months at most to live.
At that time, her son was just in high school, and her entire family was crushed by the news. However, Lin was not willing to die like this, so she borrowed money to go to Beijing and stayed in the basement of a rental place. Every day her husband took her to seek medical help, but several famous hospitals refused to accept her. Later, she underwent surgery in a cancer hospital. The surgery, which cost 200,000 yuan, removed a large part of her stomach, more than a foot of her intestines, and her entire pancreas and bile ducts. She was told that she could only live for three to five years at most in such serious cases.
When she first came to my clinic three years later in 2006, she said that she suffered so much abdominal pain that she felt like she could only wait for death. When she saw me on the street, she cried like a long-lost relative.
I told Lin that I had been practicing Falun Dafa for eight years and was cured of all my ailments. I told her that Falun Dafa teaches people to abide by truthfulness, kindness, and forbearance and that Falun Dafa has a miraculous healing effect.
Lin soon began practicing Falun Dafa. Thereafter, she told me with great excitement, “It was Dafa that ignited this light in my heart, gave me the courage to start my life anew, and keep cultivating and ascending in Dafa.” Soon, Lin's health returned to normal and she started working as a Chinese medicine doctor again.
In the blink of an eye, she has been practicing Dafa for 16 years, and she has paid back all the money she borrowed for her medical treatments. She even bought a house. Now 62 years old, she is still working and making a decent income. She also lives a very happy life!
The longest time that one could live after being diagnosed with Lin’s disease is eight years, and she has lived for almost nineteen years. The healing power of Dafa is incredible. Her recovery caused quite a stir at her workplace as well as among her friends and neighbors. Many of them also began practicing Falun Dafa.
Young Nurse's Life Changed
My clinic hired a young nurse in 2009. She was only 21 and fresh out of college. One day, just three months after she started working, she suddenly felt unwell and had to go to the hospital. After several examinations in two hospitals, she was diagnosed with a condition that leads to cancer of the cervix.
Once full of hope for a bright future, the young woman was dealt a heavy blow, and she had trouble accepting such a reality.
She had little money. She wanted to tell her parents about her diagnosis, but then she thought, “How anxious they would be if they knew! The whole family would be worried about me!” Knowing that her family was not well off and not wanting to involve her family, she decided to take on the burden herself.
She borrowed money to go to the hospital for treatment and was unable to work. Every day she just went to the hospital for treatment. After a while, she found that her condition was getting worse. She silently endured in her rental apartment. She thought of her hard-working parents living frugally and supporting her education, only to possibly lose her to the disease before she even got a chance to repay them for everything. “What should I do? What should I do?”
When she told me of her situation, I encouraged her to practice Falun Dafa. She heeded my advice and began to read Zhuan Falun, the main teaching of Falun Dafa, earnestly. Whenever she had time, she read the book or did the exercises. She felt her view of the world changed dramatically.
She recovered shortly after that. She later got married and now has a three-year-old boy.
She is still healthy after more than ten years. It is truly a miracle that she not only recovered from cancer of the cervix but also became a mother!
Save the Mother or the Baby?
When my grand-nephew got married, he and his wife, Ms. Dan came to visit me. I told them about Falun Dafa. They acknowledged the goodness of Dafa and quit the CCP and its related organizations. I gave them a Dafa keepsake and asked them to recite the phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” as it would bless them.
Ms. Dan got pregnant the next year. At about six months, her platelet count dropped. She and her husband went to three different hospitals and spent 40,000 yuan without much improvement.
Ms. Dan was transferred to the best provincial hospital for treatment. After a period of treatment, the platelet count dropped to “one unit,” compared to 100 to 300 units in normal people. The hospital ran out of options and issued a critical care notice: Should we save the mother or the child? They were at their wit's end.
Suddenly my grandnephew thought about me and called me. He could hardly form a full sentence without crying. I told him to calm down and reminded him to keep reciting the auspicious phrases sincerely and attentively.
Shortly after that, a miracle happened. Each time with the blood work, Ms. Dan’s platelet count was climbing. In four days it was in the normal range! She was discharged from the hospital and later gave birth to a healthy baby girl, who is six years old now.
Later Ms. Dan had a second child without any problem. Her relatives, friends, and neighbors were all in awe of the great compassion and boundless power of Dafa.
