(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. During the 20-plus years that I have cultivated, I met many kind people who helped me in my efforts to clarify the truth of Dafa so people can be saved.
“Put Them in the Trunk, They Will be Safe There.”
I went to the provincial capital to obtain my son’s college transcripts in 2008. A fellow practitioner asked me to pick up some Dafa informational materials from a practitioner there and bring them back. I contacted the practitioner, and she met me at the bus station.
When I saw the two big boxes of materials, I was somewhat concerned. The practitioner detected it and said, “Why don’t you take just one box?” I was a bit embarrassed and said, “I’ll take both since you have brought them here. The weather is so hot, and you live so far away; it has been difficult for you.”
I hired a cart to carry the boxes to the bus. At departure time, the driver saw the two boxes next to me and said, “It is not safe to leave them inside the bus since the police will come to inspect it at each stop.” He suggested that I put them in the luggage compartment underneath. I understood him at that point and was grateful. It was Master Li (Dafa’s founder) protecting me. I got home safely.
“Let Me Pull You on Your Scooter.”
I went to a village to distribute flyers. As I was walking, a person suddenly came out of his home. He grabbed me and asked, “It is so late. What are you doing here?” He wanted to take me to the police station.
I said, “Brother, I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. The human moral standard is deteriorating rapidly. People are getting more and more selfish and will face a big calamity. We distribute pamphlets to help people become kind and stay safe and healthy. We ask everyone to remember, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ We cultivate Buddha Law.” He then let go of me and asked me to leave as soon as possible.
I said, “Brother, why don’t you quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. You will have a good future.” He said, “Why don’t you go quickly?” I replied, “You must remember, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ I hope you will be safe.” I continued on and finished distributing all the materials.
When I was ready to leave, I found that my scooter was out of charge, so I had to push it home. A man came from behind and asked me if my battery died. He suggested tying a rope to my scooter, and he would pull me home, since we were heading in the same direction. I said, “It's okay. Why don’t you go first? Thank you.” He said, “It is over six miles to your home, and it’s past 1:00 a.m. Let me help you.” I was so grateful that I shed tears. It is Master Li who arranged for this person to help me home. Thank you, Master.
The Policeman Was Frozen
I once carried a large bag of Dafa pamphlets and copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party DVDs to distribute to people on the street. I came to a bus station and had a few DVDs left. A few cars were parked, and a few men were standing around.
I walked over and said, “Gentlemen, here are DVDs of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Each of you can have one and take it home.” I was ready to go after I finished the distribution. A man then grabbed the front of my scooter and said, “Don’t you go! We are plainclothes police.” He then pulled out his ID and tried to arrest me, saying that I had disturbed the order of society.
Another policeman yelled out, “How come you are still talking and not leaving? You would be sentenced to a few years in prison for the DVDs you distributed today.” I thought: “Whatever my Master says is what counts, what you say doesn’t.” He rushed over to me again, “Why don’t you go quickly?”
At this moment, I saw that the policeman who grabbed my scooter was frozen, with his mouth and eyes wide open, like a motionless puppet. I left quickly and safely and made it home while saying, “Thank you, Master” as I walked away.
Every thought of ours reflects whether our conduct is righteous, or whether we are disturbed by something. I am grateful to Master for his protection and for letting me experience the wonder of Dafa. I am so happy to be able to assist Him in rectifying the Fa and will do the three things asked of practitioners well.
