(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a nation-wide persecution in China to eradicate Falun Dafa and its practitioners on July 20, 1999.
Every year practitioners hold events to tell people about the persecution, and call for it to end. This year marks the 23rd year of the CCP persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
Practitioners held activities outside the Saipan Falun Dafa Association building on July 20, 2022. They demonstrated the exercises and held up banners to show the peacefulness and preciousness of Falun Dafa. In addition to introducing the practice, practitioners also displayed information of how the CCP persecuted Falun Dafa over the years.
During nightfall, practitioners held a candlelight vigil to mourn for those persecuted to death for following the principles in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They asked people to recognize the CCP’s evil nature, and to help stop the 23-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa.
Falun Dafa practitioners hold a candlelight vigil in Saipan Island.
Practitioners were solemn yet dignified during the candlelight vigil. Many passersby and vehicles stopped to find out what this demonstration was all about, and learn more about Falun Dafa.
Overseas Falun Dafa practitioners have steadfastly used various methods to expose the facts about the persecution. Practitioners wish that every predestined sentient being understands and believes that Falun Dafa and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Resisting the persecution, withdrawing from the CCP and its youth organizations, and eliminating the CCP regime should also be people’s top priority.
Each candlelight flame showed practitioners’ compassionate heart in the hope to awaken people’s conscience. Falun Dafa and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance shines hope upon everyone worldwide, while bringing truth and hope to sentient beings.
