(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Kumamoto held activities, July 16 - 18, 2022 in three cities. During the event in Tenjin, Fukuoka they collected signatures on a petition to bring former CCP (Chinese Communist Party) head Jiang Zemin to justice. They also peacefully protested outside the Chinese embassies in both Fukuoka and Nagasaki.

Collecting Signatures in Fukuoka

Practitioners came to the Tenjin, Fukuoka city’s shopping street on July 16-17, 2022 to tell people about the persecution of Falun Dafa, which has been ongoing for the past 23 years. They also called on people to sign a petition to bring Jiang Zemin to justice.

People sign the petition to support the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

One mother was about to cross the road with her 2 children when a practitioner walked over to tell her about the persecution of Falun Dafa. The woman signed the petition without hesitation and also had her son and daughter sign. She told the practitioner, “I am very shocked. Such cruel persecution is actually happening in the world, but the international community is still being kept in the dark about it. This is heartbreaking. Is there anything that I can do for you?”

The practitioner handed her some truth clarifying materials and said, “Please tell your relatives and friends about it.” The lady said, “Definitely, I will definitely do it.” Before leaving the mother told the practitioner, “The CCP is evil to the extreme. You all must take care of your safety.”

At the end of March this year, the Japanese government lifted the ban on foreigners entering the country, which was imposed due to the pandemic. Now, overseas students can be seen everywhere in the Tenjin shopping district. They came from different countries, and races all over the world to attend universities in Japan.

Some of these students can speak simple Japanese but many who recently arrived in Japan, can only speak their country’s language. Therefore, along with Japanese truth-clarifying materials, practitioners also prepared materials in many languages such as Chinese, Korean, English, Vietnamese, Thai, Nepali, Spanish, etc and handed them out.

Two exchange students from Nepal read through the materials and said they felt shocked when they learned about the persecution of Falun Dafa. They then gestured to the practitioner that they wanted to sign the petition. After they signed, they pointed to the display board that shows practitioners being cruelly persecuted by the CCP, made angry facial expressions and kept saying, “No, no,” in Japanese.

After listening to a practitioner clarify the truth, a university student from Korea said in fluent Japanese, “I am a Korean and I am currently studying in a university in Fukuoka. I did not expect that such serious persecution of human rights was actually happening in China. This is so scary. If my signature can become a part of the righteous energy, I am willing to sign.”

Peaceful Protest Outside Chinese Embassies

Practitioners in Kumamoto held activities in front of the Chinese embassies in Fukuoka and Nagasaki on July 18, 2022. They held display boards and banners with information about the persecution. They read statements which described the CCP’s unprecedented human rights atrocities towards Falun Dafa. They also called on people in the international community to recognize the CCP’s true nature and work together to end the persecution.

In their letter they stated, “The main culprits: Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Zeng Qinghong, Li Lanqing, Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai, etc, who have been actively involved in persecuting Falun Dafa, have already been sued in court and are being condemned by the whole world.

“Since May 2015, more than 200 thousand Falun Dafa practitioners and their family members have submitted their criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin for his role in persecuting Falun Dafa to the Supreme People’s Procuratorate and Supreme People’s Court of China. They requested these agencies to file a case and investigate Jiang’s criminal acts and investigate his legal responsibilities according to the law.”

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
