(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners attended the All American 4th & Fireworks from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. on July 4, 2022. Practitioners set up a booth and talked to people about Falun Dafa and its benefits, and informed people about the ongoing persecution in China.
July 4th is American Independence Day, and many cities throughout the United States celebrate this holiday with fireworks.
Plano, a city in northern Texas, has a population of about 300,000, with the majority being of Asian ethnicity. The annual fireworks show is held at the city’s largest park, Oak Point Park.
Practitioners in Dallas participate in the annual fireworks show by setting up a booth to introduce Falun Dafa.
When passersby were told about the benefits experienced by Falun Dafa practitioners, many showed interest and wanted to learn the Falun Dafa exercises and hear more about the practice.
A couple and their three children passed by and accepted Falun Dafa informational fliers. They returned after a short while, and the father expressed an interest in learning the practice. The three children attend an international school and learned the Chinese language at school. They wanted to learn Falun Dafa with their parents, so they could become familiar with the Chinese culture. They wished to attend the instructional practice site upon learning that there was one nearby.
Rosemary said that she saw a documentary about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners online and was shocked. She was surprised to see practitioners at the fireworks show. She took more truth-clarification fliers from practitioners and said that she wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa once she gets home.
A family of four from China stopped in front of the information booth. Two of the young girls accepted paper lotus flowers, while the mother and grandmother received Falun Dafa truth-clarification fliers, and a copy of the Minghui published magazine.
A young man of Asian descent working at the fireworks show expressed an interest to learn more about Falun Dafa and introduce the practice to his parents. He brought three of his coworkers so they could learn more about Falun Dafa. All three of his coworkers received Falun Dafa informational fliers and paper lotus flowers.

The fireworks started at 9:30 p.m. and lit up the night sky. During the celebration, people were still inquiring about Falun Dafa and were given informational fliers about the practice.
The president of Plano’s Rotary Club stopped at the Falun Dafa booth and thanked practitioners for attending the event. He invited them to also introduce Falun Dafa at Plano’s Rotary Club.
