(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 2006. Only with Master’s protection and fellow practitioners’ help have I been able to cultivate, despite ups and downs, through to the present day. My gratitude to Master is beyond words. I clearly understand that only by doing the three things well can I be worthy of Master’s compassion. The following are some of my experiences telling people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
Taking a Chance
I saw an old man carrying plastic bottles down the road one day last summer. I said, “How are you, sir? Are you returning the bottles?” He stopped and started to chat with me. Seeing that he was talkative and frank, I got straight to the point. I talked about the corruption of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), that the CCP had killed more than 80 million Chinese people in its previous movements, and that heaven was destroying the CCP through epidemics.
After realizing that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner, he said, “Falun Dafa is very good. I often read the materials you hand out, and what they say is all true. You are all good people. I do understand that the CCP is very bad and that it is dying. Your practitioners explained to me about Falun Dafa and the persecution before, and I quit the CCP organizations a long time ago. You know, I have not received any Dafa materials for a long time. If you have any recent ones, please send them to my home.” He gave me his address and then said, “I am with you Falun Dafa practitioners. I will always stand with Falun Dafa!”
Before he left, I told him, “Please often recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Then the pandemic will pass you by.” He smiled and nodded. I was happy that he understood the truth so well!
After the old man left, I noticed a cleaner standing behind me and asked him if he’d overheard our conversation. He said he had, so I said, “Then, please consider quitting the Party’s organizations you once joined so that you won’t go down with the Party.” Without hesitation, he agreed. I then briefly told him about the staged “Tiananmen self-immolation” and about the “Hidden Character Stone” in Guizhou Province. I gave him a beautiful small gourd with “Falun Dafa is good” engraved on it, which he seemed pleased to accept.
“You Are a Falun Dafa Practitioner! No Wonder You Are So Nice.”
Once as I was dozing off on a bus, a voice saying “I’ll tell you which bus to take” woke me up. I opened my eyes and saw a man behind me telling a young woman which bus to take. I knew that bus and thought, “This must be a predestined person Master arranged for me. I should talk to her.” I got off the bus behind her, smiled, took her hand, and said, “Don’t worry, I know where the stop is for the bus you want to take. I am going that way, too. I’ll take you there.” She was very happy and held my hand tightly, as if I might fly away.
We chatted as we walked, and I learned that she was from the countryside and had brought her father to town for medical treatment. Only then did I notice that an old man in his 70s was following along behind us. The man looked haggard and walked slowly. I greeted him and asked what was ailed him. He said sadly, “I just came out of a big hospital. They didn’t find out what was wrong but still charged me a lot of money.”
“Nowadays,” I said, “it is very difficult for the average person to even get to see a doctor. They charge about 1,000 yuan just for a checkup. Of course, all the government officials use public money to pay their medical expenses. What is public money? Does the CCP earn it? No, it is the taxpayers’ money, money we paid. Is it fair that the Party lives on our money and then oppresses us?” The young woman said, “The people in rural areas have no medical insurance. If we are seriously ill and have no money to see a doctor, all we can do is wait for death. We have no other option.”
I said, “Don’t worry. Let me tell you a good way that doesn’t cost a penny or take any effort.” She quickly asked what it was, and I said, “Have you heard about Falun Dafa?” She said that she had, that there were people who practiced Falun Dafa where she lived. I continued, “Falun Dafa is the Buddha Fa and teaches people to be good and compassionate. However, the evil CCP persecutes Falun Gong. They fabricated the Tiananmen self-immolation to defame Falun Gong, arrested and imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and even harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
“It is a heaven’s law that good is rewarded with good and evil incurs retribution. The Wuhan virus (CCP virus, COVID) is taking aim at the CCP, and ‘The Chinese Communist Party [will] perish’ carved on the ‘Hidden Character Stone’ in Guizhou Province warns people to quit the CCP and its organizations for a safe future.”
She said in surprise, “You are a Falun Dafa practitioner! No wonder you are so nice. But I believe in the Lord God.”
I said, “No wonder you’re also so kind. Having an orthodox belief is good, and I am not trying to change your faith. Jesus was a great divine being.” I talked about the crucifixion of Jesus and the four great plagues of Rome. Then, I talked about the current disasters. I said, “Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, came to save people at this most dangerous time. He has arranged for me to talk to you so that you can also be saved.”
“Really?” she asked. “Is it true that your Master wants you to save me?” I said, “Yes, how could we otherwise be like friends from the start.” She was so happy, like a child, and told me about her family’s situation. I saw the joy in the heart of a life who was saved. I was moved and my heart was filled with gratitude for Master. After understanding the truth about Falun Dafa, both the father and daughter quit the CCP’s Young Pioneers. They made the right choice.
When we arrived at the bus stop, I told the father to often recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and told him that he would get better. He thanked me again and again. Watching them leave on the bus, I thanked Master for being compassionate and awakening people.
Saving Lives Using Currency Bills with the Facts Written on Them
I saw a man selling melons on the side of the road. When I asked him if his melons were sweet, he said, “If they weren’t, would that man have bought so many just now?” I asked, “Is that the old man who just left?” He replied, “He’s not an old man, he seemed younger than you!” I joked, “Do I look old?” He said, “You look younger than me!” When I asked him how old he was, he said he was in his 40s. I said, “I’m much older than you are.”
An elderly man next to him piped up, “You look very young.” I said, “I practice Falun Dafa, a practice of body and mind. Those who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance look younger than their ages. It also has amazing healing benefits; some people with terminal cancer regained their health once they started practicing Falun Dafa.”
I bought a melon and paid the man with a 10-yuan bill and a 20-yuan bill. He looked at the bills and asked me why there were characters on them. I said, “Have you gotten any bills with writing on them before? These characters tell you about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Whoever uses these bills will be blessed.” Without any further questions, he put them in his pocket. I then told them about the importance of quitting the CCP organizations. They both agreed to quit.
I chose pseudonyms for them to quit the CCP. The man selling melons told me that he liked the name I chose for him and said. “I will ask everyone to call me that name from now on.” I gave each of them a card with a QR code and told them that by scanning the Before I left, the elderly man said, “I should also believe in something. I will learn Falun Dafa in the future.”
At a supermarket last year, after I paid for my groceries, I heard a girl behind me ask the cashier, “Can you give me a different bill?” I saw that the cashier had given the girl the 10-yuan bill with Falun Dafa information on it that I had just used to pay the cashier; the girl was unwilling to accept it. I decided to help her understand Falun Dafa. Seeing that she had a lot of groceries, I smiled at her and said, “You bought so much. Can I help you bag everything?” She was grateful for my help.
As I was helping her I asked her why she didn’t want the bills with writing on them. She said, “It was about Falun Dafa.” So I asked her if she knew anything about Falun Dafa, and she said she didn’t. I then explained to her what it is, why Jiang Zemin persecuted it, and that it is because of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa that the CCP virus (COVID) is spreading around the world.
I told her that Falun Dafa practitioners printed the messages on the bills to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa and save lives. I told her that the people who use those bills would be blessed, and I asked her not to refuse them in the future. She accepted what I told her. Because the time was limited, I did not get a chance to advise her to quit the CCP. However, I believe that she will make the right choice.
