(Minghui.org) “What can I do for you?” asked Ms. Luo after talking with a Falun Dafa practitioner. Ms. Luo had finally learned the facts about Falun Dafa after being puzzled about it for over 20 years. She expressed her wish to help practitioners.
Ms. Luo, her husband, and children came from Germany and saw Falun Dafa’s informational booth when shopping on Grafton Street in Dublin on November 26, 2022. Ms. Luo said, “I saw Falun Dafa practitioners doing the exercises in my village every week. Unfortunately, none of those practitioners spoke Chinese.”
Ms. Luo asked, “I remember China Central Television broadcast the 'Tiananmen Square self-immolation.' I was shocked to find out what they did to themselves. I am happy to have met you today. Can you tell me more about the incident?”
A practitioner answered, “Falun Dafa is rooted in Buddhist traditions and forbids people from killing, let alone committing suicide. The “Tiananmen self-immolation” is staged, and the self-immolators weren't Falun Dafa practitioners. There is also a documentary available that discusses the suspicious points of the staged self-immolation incident.”
The practitioner took out a booklet and showed Ms. Luo pictures of the suspicious points. The practitioner said, “One of the self immolators, Wang Jindong, supposedly used a green plastic Sprite bottle to douse gasoline over his body to self immolate. However, the plastic bottle filled with gasoline should have been one of the first things to burn, but remained untouched between his legs.”
“Secondly, the police officer behind Wang held a fire-proof blanket. He seemed to be waiting for a signal to cover him instead of covering him up immediately to save his life from the fire. Thirdly, Wang’s hair seemed to be fully intact.”
The practitioner continued, “There is a saying in Chinese called standing to pose for a picture. Why was the police officer standing there holding the fire-proof blanket? Wasn’t he waiting for someone to take pictures of him?
“Falun Dafa requires practitioners to sit in double lotus while meditating. Beginners are allowed to sit in half lotus. In the video, Wang, who claimed to be a Falun Gong practitioner, was not even sitting half lotus. The media reported that Wang Jindong had been practicing Falun Gong since 1996. For someone who had practiced for so many years, isn't it strange that he was unable to sit in double lotus?”
Ms. Luo listened attentively and nodded in agreement with the suspicious points. The practitioners also stated, “For a sensitive place like Tiananmen Square, with armed police constantly on patrol, doesn’t a reporter need to have permission to take video footage of the whole process? You and I are both from China and we know how important Tiananmen Square is to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). How can one easily record such high definition footage?”
Ms. Luo suddenly realized that her questions about Falun Dafa were answered that day. She sincerely wished to help Falun Dafa practitioners and asked, “What can I do for you?”
She looked around and saw another practitioner collecting signatures to help end the CCP’s forced organ harvesting and to disintegrate the CCP. She walked over and signed both petitions without hesitation.
The practitioner also informed her that over 400 million people have quit the CCP and its youth organizations. The practitioner asked if she was willing to quit the Party. Ms. Luo answered, “I joined the CCP when I was in China. I will quit today once and for all.” The practitioner gave her a pseudonym. Ms. Luo repeated the pseudonym twice to herself and looked satisfied.
Before her leaving, the practitioner reminded her to remember “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Ms. Luo expressed her appreciation and left happily.
Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why is the CCP persecuting it?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
