(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Los Angeles gathered in Vincent Lugo Park in San Gabriel, California, on January 22, 2023, Lunar New Year Day, to send their founder, Master Li Hongzhi, a Happy New Year greeting and express their gratitude.

As part of the day’s event, practitioners did the exercises together.

Linda Yi thanks Master for giving her wisdom and wishes Master a Happy New Year.

Linda Yi, a college sophomore, said that she began practicing Falun Dafa with her parents when she was a child. After she grew up and considered her goals in life, she decided to continue practicing.

“Cultivation has given me wisdom. I keep improving myself through cultivation. The wisdom of Falun Dafa has helped me through difficult times in school and personal relationships,” Linda said. “Cultivation has given me a calm mind. I can face the uncontrollable with a positive attitude. Above all, cultivation has taught me to distinguish between the truly good and the truly bad, be self-disciplined, and never follow the crowd blindly.”

Tom Janowicz thanks Master for introducing Falun Dafa to the world.

Tom Janowicz started practicing Falun Dafa in June, 2021. Despite the short period of time, he said he has truly experienced the benefits of Falun Dafa. “My health has improved greatly. I used to drink every day. I don’t even think of alcohol now. In addition, I have noticed an improvement in my personality. I’m more tolerant of others and do my best to help others. I feel inspired. It’s a great feeling!”

Tom thanked Master for introducing Falun Dafa to the world, which has made us better people. He said in Chinese, “Thank you, Master!”
