1. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Chen Youqing’s Home Ransacked

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Guozhen Detained in the Brainwashing Center
1. [Nanning City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Chen Youqing’s Home Ransacked
Six people from the Zhongshan Police Station, the Qingxiu District Police Department, and the community went to Chen Youqing’s rented apartment on the evening of September 7, 2022. They ransacked it and confiscated many personal belongings. Chen Youqing (gender unknown) managed to escape.
2. [Helong City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Qingju’s Case Submitted to the Procuratorate
Ms. Sun Qingju, 61, is a retired teacher from Bajiazi Kindergarten. Six officers went to her home in March or April 2022 and ransacked it. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, computer, printer, etc. Ms. Sun and her grandson were taken to the police station for interrogation. Her grandson was released that evening. Ms. Sun was released the next day.
Ms. Sun was arrested again at the end of August 2022. She was released the next day but was taken away the following day. She was held in the Yanji City Detention Center. Her case has now been submitted to the Longjing Procuratorate.
3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Guozhen Detained in a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhang Guozhen from the Dongxihu District was arrested on the afternoon of October 16, 2022, for distributing truth clarifying materials in a residential community. She was detained in a brainwashing center and was released on December 10, 2022.
